Jai say "are you ready to tell our parents?" he says I reply "not really." He pulls me into a hug and says "its going to be fine." I try and think positive but I know this is going to all blow up. We finally pull up at my parents' house. Jai's parents are already there. We walk in everyone is in the living room. My parents on the couch and jai's parents on the love seat. "hey guys" my mom says I give a fake smile and say " hi everyone." I sit next to Jai on the chase lounge. I'm going to puke if I don't get this over with I think. "so whats up." Jai dads says. Jai says "nothing much." I sit there picking my nails and looking down when my sister says "what wrong with you?" i just look up at her, jai grabs my hand. "uhh.. we have some uhh news.." jai says scratching the back of his neck. "what are you pregnant?" my sister says jokingly everyone laughs and I lose it I walk into the kitchen. My sister goes after me. "Hey are you okay?" she says I reply sofly threw my tears "no. its true im having a baby." She says "I was just kidding sis." I nod wiping my tears away. I could hear Jai parents scolding him. "how could you be so stupid, now you have a child to look after and you aint even a couple." His mom says. Jai's dad jumps in "I hope you know you're not leaving her. You are staying and help raising that baby." Jai replies "I am, I am staying she knows that. And mom we were drunk it wasn't meant to happen. Don't blame her, me and her friends were telling her too loosen up and drink. I'm sorry." I walk back in "I'm also sorry, jai told me something that stuck with me we can do this. We can raise this baby." I say sitting next to Jai and he grabs my hand. "So im going to be a aunty that's kinda cool, but im not changing any diapers." I laugh "your going to make a great aunt Ellie." I say and give her a hug. My mom smiles "im going to be a grandma, I hope it's a boy." I smile.

Later when we are driving home, Jai says "I told you everything is going to be okay. If anything my dad is the most upset. I was worried about your dad." I smile "im glad my parents are somewhat ok with our baby." He replies minutes later "I think I want a baby girl." I smile and say "so do I" as we pull up at the apartment.
