Space.

"Jai.." I say he replies "baby please. I love you and Scarlett. You guys are my everything." I look back at the road "Jai, I think you should stay with your parents for a while I need my space." He looks at me and says "alright, I'll give you your space." I drop him off at his parents' house and head home. I walk into to Scarlett crying so I walk over to her bouncer and pick her up. "shh mommy's here." I say rocking her. Christina walks in asking me "where's the criminal?" I give her a weird look and say "he's staying with his parents." She replies "you kicked him out?" I say "no, I didn't kick him out, I told him I need my space." She look at me and shakes her head "what?" I say to her she replies "nothing you two are fighting like a married couple." I roll my eyes and says "me aren't married and I don't think we ever will." I say with tears in my eyes. She walks over to me and says "why would you say that?" I reply "because, he's never going to love me." She replies "he's not Rider, Kaylee, I can tell Jai loves you." I shake my head. she continues "then why is he still her? He didn't even think about leaving you the moment you told him you were pregnant." I wipe a few tears and lay asleep Scarlett in her bouncer, I walk into the kitchen with Christian following me. "Kaylee, Jai is crazy about you." I look at her and say "I don't know. I just don't know." I start to cry harder. She hugs me. "I know you have trust issues since Rider. Kaylee trust me Jai is never going to be or turn into Rider." I just stand there hugging my best friend she counties "just give him a chance. I know this will work out. I mean you guys made it through making and having a gorgeous baby, I think you two can get along. You never know maybe you too will get married and have more beautiful babies." I wipe my eyes and sigh. "give him a chance." She says handing me a tissue.

A week later I just put Scarlett down for her nap and I start folding laundry when my cell phone rings. Setting down the towel I was folding and pick up the phone "hello?" I say "hey it's me." I say "hi Jai." he says "I was just wondering if I could come see Scarlett and get some of my stuff." I really miss him I think. It's been one hell of a week without him. "Kaylee?" he says I reply "uhh yeah sorry, sure come over." He thanks me and hangs up. I continue to fold the laundry when Scarlett walks up screaming. That's the third time this week. I am starting to think she is have nightmare with Jai not being here. "Scarlett what's the matter baby?" I ask picking her up and kissing her head. She continues to scream cry, "is she okay? What happened." I jump hearing is voice I turn around and say over her screams "I don't know I think she had a nightmare." Jai walks over and puts his arms out for me to hand her over, I handed her to him and he says "Princess what's the matter? Daddy's her nothing going to hurt you or mommy." She calms down, she grabs Jai's finger and coos. "I think she missed her daddy." I say he looks at me and says "is she the only one?" I give a small smile and say "no."
