 5 months pregnant (Kaylee's Pov)

I was sitting in my OGBYN office waiting by myself, for them to call me. Today is the day I'm finding out the gender. Jai and I got into another fight last night, but I really thought he would show up but he didn't. I'm kind of regretting this relationship all ready. I feel like we are friends with benefits and I'm having his baby kind of deal, this isn't a real relationship. All my past relationship sucked, I think that's why I really want to make this relationship work. I sit there in a daze thinking about our fight. Then I hear "Kaylee smith." I stand up, slowly because my belly is weighting me down. "Hello, im Holly I'll be prepping you for your ultra sound." I smile at her. "is the dad going to join us today?" she asks I just looking at her then look down at my stomach. she changes the subject a few minutes later. "are you excited to see what you're having?" I smile and nod. she smiles and says "okay I'm going to go get the gel from the fridge I'll be right back." I nod. I lay down on my back. I hear a knock and then the door opened. I figured it was the nurse so I didn't turn to see who walked in I just rub my stomach and pray that everything is okay and he or she is healthy. I feel someone standing over me on my right side I look up and its Jai. "Hey." He says I just look at him. he continues after I don't reply "I'm sorry im late, I had a photoshoot, I had to wait for the camera man." I just stair up at the sealing the nurse comes in. "alright here we go, sorry about the wait there was a paper jam in the printer." I replie "it's okay." She looks at Jai who was sitting next to me trying to hold my hand. "so Is this the dad?" she asked I was about to say something when Jai says "yes ,yes I am." She just looks at me.

 She puts the very cold jell on my stomach, after she goes and gets the doctor Dr. Morgan. who starts rubbing the wand around. The grey and black image pops up on the computer screen. "well your baby look very healthy." I smile "Would you like to know the gender?" I nod at her "it's a baby Girl." I smile wide, I look up at Jai who was smiling like no other. "a little girl." He says at a stop light driving us home. My mom dropped me off. i smile "a girl where having a healthy baby girl." he nods. "im sorry babe." I just look out the window. He grabs my hand. "im sorry sweetheart." I just nod I just want to be happy or baby is okay, not continue our fight from last night.When we finally get home my bestie Tina is sitting on the couch waiting for me to get home. "So do tell." She says I smile and say " it's a girl." She screams and hugs me. "I knew it, that baby girl is going to be so spoiled. I'm going to spoil her so much." I laugh.
