A week later, I wanted to have a gender reveal party just for our family and friends. Christian is taking care of the cake since she already knows. I start getting the house ready, our guests are arriving in 2 hours and I still have to decorate the house and finish cooking the snacks. Jai is blowing up blue and pink balloons and I am setting the tables up. "are you excited?" jai says I smile and say "yeah, I just hope my mom isn't going to be upset that's it's a girl." He looks at me tying a balloon "she won't be upset I think they all will be happy. I mean the baby is healthy." I nod at him. I walk into the kitchen to finish cooking.
Ding dong, I waddle over to the door and its Christnia with the cake. I open the door for her and tell her where to put the cake at. Ding dong, this time I let Jai answer it "hey daddy." My mom say walking in. I smile and hug my parents and sister. I say "pick a clothing pin, blue or pink what do you think." My mom of course grabs a blue, dad pink and Ellie pink as well. I smile and then Jai's parents come. I smile and hug his mom who pick pink and Jai's dad picked blue. I smile and say "welcome, everyone so we have some snacks but first I wanted to show you the baby picture." And jai adds "and no you cant tell the gender it's a side picture." I smile and hand the picture to Jai mom who passes it on to his dad and so on. Mom says "I cant wait now, I just want to hold my grandbaby." My sister says "so what have you been craving " looking at all the food on the table, I say "watermelon, brownies and ice cream." She giggles and says "I can tell." I laugh.
After everyone eats and we all chat its time to cut the cake. We all gather around the cake in the dinning room and jai grabs my hand and I say "Well lets see who's right." My mom says "I am." I giggle and start to cut the cake. I pull out the piece and put it on the plate and hold it up and say "it's a girl." Jai's mom runs over and hugs me and then she hugs Jai. my mom says "my little grand daughter" with her hand it on my stomach. I smile and say "she's going to be so spoiled." Jai kisses my forehead as I finish passing out the cake and ice cream. I waddle over to the couch and sit down.
After everyone leaves Jai cuddles with me in bed. "I love our little daughter." he says kissing my stomach. I just smile at him.
