Family.

She gets out of the car and hurry's inside. I texted Christina earlier and told her we are at the hospital. I walk inside and see Kaylee sitting on the couch holding scarlett and kissing her head. "is she okay?" christina asks following me into the kitchen I reply "well she is but not the baby. the baby is going to be premature." She looks at me and says "It could be worst she could have lost to the baby." I nod and say "shes on light doodie and bed rest. Try not to talk about it with her, I don't want her to worry even more." She replies "Jai, everything is going to be okay. I know her she is strong." I sip my beer. "I wanted to ask you about Rider, do you know why they broke up?" Christina looks at me then looks away "I think you should let her tell you." I reply "that's the thing she not going to tell me." she looks at me and says "ask her." she walks out of the kitchen, gives Kaylee a long hug and then leaves.

Later that night I find Kaylee lying in bed crying. "babe you hugrey? I made chicken tacos." She replies with a soft "no." I reply "sweetheart you have to eat, your eating for two now." she replies with a sniffle. "lets go eat, I gave scarlett a bath and put her to bed. it's just me and you." she gets up and I grab her hand and we walk into the kitchen.

After dinner I run her a hot bath and I load the dishwasher and then I go into the bathroom and see if shes okay. "sweetie are you okay?" I ask she replies "yeah can you come sit with me?" I smile and open the door and sit on the edge of the tub facing her. "are you still going to be here with me when the baby comes?" she asks I know trying not to cry I reply "I am going to be here no matter what, babe I told you earlier I love you and I want to be with you. heck I want to marry you baby." she looks at me with tears in her eyes. " why are you crying?" I ask she replies "because I didn't think any guy could love me not after.." then she stops. And looks away from me.

"babe you can tell me." I say helping her out of the tub and handing her a towel. She replies "nevermind." I reply "what did Rider do to you to make you think that no guy will ever love you, which he is a moron because you are the sweetest, beautifulness, funniest girl I have ever laid eyes on." She smiles and I kiss her forehead and say "what happen tell me." she replies "I will but I'm just not ready." I nod and say "as long as you promise me you will tell me." she nods and I jump in the shower while she goes and lays down.

The next morning I walk up with Scarlett, I feed her and myself. I let Kaylee sleep since she finally feel asleep about 3am. I have an audition for a movie at noon but I don't think I am going to go. I call my manager who gets really angry with me because I told her I'm not going to the audition. "What? It will only take not even a hour. Why is she not letting you go?" I reply "it's my decision and right now my family is more important." She replies "oh come on it's one hour she can't watch the kid for a half hour?" I reply "I told you I don't want to go to the audition." She gets even more mad "oh come on you got to be kidding me. your going to blow the biggest audition you ever had for a girl you impregnanted twice now? I could see if she was your wife but come on I know you two arnt going to last. You need to focus on your career and not her." I am ferouis at this point. "my personal life has nothing to do with you. and she isn't just some girl matter of fact I love her like crazy." She replies "she isn't even your girlfriend. You just like banging her." I say gritting my teeth "im not going to that audition and that's final." Before she could get a word in I hang up the phone.

How dare she say those things? I mean I know Kaylee and I haven't been on good terms but I still love her like crazy. It's true that my personal life isn't any of her business we are just doing our jobs. I know this audition would get me more bigger roles but I cant leave Kaylee and scarlett alone and worring about peanut isn't going to help my audition. Especially after Kaylee being kidnapped. My family is more important than a silly audition even if it is with Channing Tatum.

I fall asleep on the couch with scarlett on my chest watching some stupid cartoon to sooth her. when I wake up to Kaylee playing with my hair I smile up at her she smiles back and I sit up carefully and she pecks my lips. I smile and say "did you get some rest." She smiles, nods and picks up Scarlett and kisses her head. Then there was a knock on the door and it was my angry manager.
