I felt drops of water being splashed on my face and I blocked my face with my hands.

"Stop." I murmured, sitting up from my lying position. But, I was beyond shocked to see Isaac was sitting right beside me, boring holes in my head with his intense gaze. After noticing I woke up and said something, he reacted.

"Kayla.. Kayla it's me Isaac. You're finally up. Oh, thank goodness." He said, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into a hug as he continued. "I was so worried. I'm sorry Kayla. I'm so sorry." This time, it seemed he was crying.

I pulled away from him and cupped his face in my arms and said to him, "I'm okay. You don't have to worry anymore. It's going to be fine." I coaxed him, patting on his head that currently lay on my bare chest. I pulled away from him, fearing that someone might come in and see us.

"How did you get in here? I know Morowa won't let you through." I asked.

"I may or may not have climbed through your bedroom window." He said, scratching the back of his head. I knew he went through the window, I just wanted him to admit it.

He sighed looking defeated. "I'll explain everything to you Kayla. I promise." With that, he let go of me and gave me a quick peck on my cheek to which my stomach was instantly filled with butterflies. He looked at me one more time and went out through the window.

I don't know how to take care of my lingering feelings for Isaac now that I'm dating Peter. I didn't want to think about it too much so I fixed my hair and makeup and went downstairs to continue the party.

I saw Morowa and a few other of our friends playing beer pong and I made my way to them.

"Hey birthday girl."

I looked up and smiled at Dylan, Isaac's best friend. Though Isaac and I had issues, he never let it get between us. I gave him a warm hug and said, "You came."

"Of course I did. If I didn't, no one else would." He replied, giving me a cocky smile and I elbowed him and got ready to play with them.

I went to stand next to Morowa and asked, "Any sign of Sarah yet?" She looked down at me and shook her head in despair. I was sad, but I wasn't going to let Sarah's absence get to me. I wanted to focus on making the most of my birthday.

It was extremely hard to get Isaac out of my head. I tapped on Morowa I wanted to go have a seat and quietly excused myself because I wasn't even in the mood to play beer pong anymore.
I was elated that Isaac came to see me. What bothered me the most was Peter. I knew I still had feelings for Isaac and I agreed to date Peter.

All for what?

I noticed Peter coming my way and quickly fixed my facial expression before smiling at him.

"There you are. I've been looking for you everywhere, babe. Where you been?" He asked as he sat beside me.

"I, uh.. went upstairs to take a breather. It's really stuffy down here, you know?" I said, praying he wouldn't notice my agitation.

"Right? It's so hot down here. You wanna step out for a moment?"

"Uh.. I think I'll.. uh stay here. Morowa and I need to take pictures." I looked over at Morowa who was currently flirting with Dylan. Ugh, she should have some dignity.

"That's alright. I'll see you in ten?" Peter knew something was off with me. Maybe that was why he wanted to step out.

Well, I was too distracted to care. He gave me a quick kiss on the lips and left.

Not long after, Sienna and her minions walked through the door. She looked like she just got off a runway with those statement heels. Her minions looked gorgeous too. She swayed her hips as she walked towards my direction and stood right in front of me.

"Hey there Kayla. Happy birthday." She said, giving me an extremely fake smile. Before I could even react, Morowa did it for me.

"Hey bitch. Surprised to see you here."
