I walked outside our bedroom and stretched. President Kickbutt had made a big fuss about what had happened in the gym. She said that I shouldn't have fought, but I was defending myself. The culprits were the stupid ones who came and tried to sneak up on me. They thought that since they were four against one, they would win. I was a skilled warrior with animal instinct. What did they think? Aqua thought I did an excellent job showing who the boss was. I liked her. She had told me to call her Aqua since Aquaspire was long.

I walked past Henry and Jasper's room, and the door opened quickly, and Henry walked out. It had been weird between Henry and me. I had the gods' decision looming over my head, and Henry didn't know about it. He had been gentle with his words, and he always gave me space, like he was the one who wronged me. Maybe he did, but I honestly feel like I should apologize. I couldn't control myself, and I attacked him.

"Hey, Roxy," he said as he closed the door, and I heard Jasper snickering from the other side. I frowned and then looked at Henry. I always tried to avoid him because every time I saw him, he was just so hot. I looked down really quickly after I thought that. "Are you blushing?" he asked as he went down to my level to look at my face.

"NO!" I said as I slapped my cheeks hard, and it hurt. I needed to act professionally, not like a teenage girl high on hormones. I looked at him, and he chuckled. I tried not to smile. After a few seconds, I asked, "So what do you need?"

"I wanted to ask if you wanted to spar with me," he said, making me serious again. We had all been trying our best to train for the fight with shadow tigers. They hadn't been doing any activities for the past few weeks, which worried me. It meant they were planning something big.

"Sure, why not?" I said as I looked at my watch. "When?"

"I'll meet you in the gym," he said. I nodded as he went back to his room. I walked back to mine to put on some exercise clothes.

We each stood in a fighting stance. He looked determined, and I grinned. I knew I was gonna win. I always did, But I loved sparing him. I was the one who taught him how to fight better because Ray was doing a horrible job at it. He fought way better than when I met him. I could see a few people stopping what they were doing to watch us. I didn't mind. Henry made the first move and tried to punch my gut, but I blocked it with one hand and, pushed him back, and used the momentum to kick me which. I blocked him and kicked him back, and he ducked it. We went on for about thirty minutes, and I won by trapping him under me with a fist to his face.

"Okay, I give up." He said, and I laughed. I found him staring at me with a longing look.

"I missed this," I whispered.

"I missed you," he said as he pulled me closer to him until his mouth was only a few inches from mine. I could see his brown eyes. I was always fascinated with them. They looked so warm, and ... I stood up so quickly and took a few steps away from him. I watched as Henry frowned and stood up, then Charlotte walked in looking mad. I slapped my cheeks again. I should stop blushing.

"What are you doing here?" Charlotte asked as she folded her arms. I loved Charlotte, but I wanted to avoid hearing the lecture she would give me.

"I was sparring with...."

"Him." She said it with so much judgment in her tone.

"Charlotte, you really need to stop..." Henry started, and I placed a hand on his mouth so fast.

"What do you need, Charlotte?" I asked as I smiled at her and glared at Henry.

"You. Let's go," she said, and I started to leave, but Henry grabbed my hand and kissed it. I blushed and walked away from him quickly. As soon as we left the gym, Charlotte gave me the meanest glare.
