We had been training people for weeks. I could tell people were getting tired and anxious, especially since the incident that happened three weeks ago. The woman we saved from the shadow tigers blew up after we got to headquarters. Her guts and body parts were everywhere in the interrogation room. Aqua and I had been trying to keep the people's spirits up. We were almost ready. We had accounted for all the heroes who fought the shadow tigers and had re-evaluated their powers. We strategized with other heroes but some heroes didn't think it would work.
"Honestly, we're just a bunch of kids trying to make adult plans." A hero called Velocity said. I frowned as Aqua, and I turned to him.
"How can you call us kids when you're 24?" Aqua said, and I nodded. Most heroes 25 and older had been taken.
"If you wanna stay here and be a kid, you can." I threatened. He kept quiet after that. We discussed our plans. We had been sending spies to South Korea, where their base was at. We couldn't locate them anywhere here in America so we thought that they had moved back to their main base.
"I feel like we're missing their main point. Why kidnap all the older heroes?" Charlotte asked, and I nodded. They had to have a bigger plan than that. We'll probably only know it last minute. Nevertheless, we still planned everything. I was annoyed going to war without knowing the reason why they were doing this. They had hidden it so well. It was like going into the battlefield blind. I was also mad that all the spies we sent were either killed or the ones that did return came with little to no news. We didn't know why The Shadow Tigers were working with Twitflash or who was their leader. We didn't know where the older heroes were. For all we knew, Ray was dead. I didn't want to accept it. I wouldn't. If he was, I didn't know what I would do.

A few more weeks had passed, and now we were ready to head out. We had four huge battle crafts with a lot of supplies and food that we had been putting in them for weeks. There was a team of heroes that stayed in Metroburg to protect it. There were multiple people controlling the controls to fly the craft. People were barely sleeping even though I encouraged to sleep. A lot of people had never been to South Korea, including me, so I had no idea what happened over there. I heard someone mention a pop group called BTS.
When we were a few hours away from there, I went to the strategy table. It was in the middle of the battle craft on the first floor of it. The battle craft had three floors. The first one was wear all the controls of the ship were. There were also comfortable seats on this floor for people to sit on. It had a limited view of the clouds. The Hero League must be rich to afford this. The second floor had people's rooms, which were smaller, and we had to bunk with four in each room. They didn't provide much comfort, but it didn't matter. The third floor had all our supplies and food. It was annoying that I had to lead all these people. It was always easy when it was just the six of us. We had left Schwoz back in Metroburg. Piper wasn't happy, but she was still limping. Bianca had been furious but I explained to her she barely knew how to fight. The rest of us were here, but I hadn't really spoken to anyone except Charlotte. I missed Ray. He was a man-child, but he was funny, and he was a good friend. He was our 'leader'. He had all introduced us to this life, and now, even though I didn't want to be a hero anymore, I would want to be a hero with them.
I was still amazed by the controls on the strategy table. Schwoz had built it. I pulled up a hologram of the base of the Shadow Tigers. We weren't sure about how it looked inside, but we knew about the outside. It was a five-story pentagon-shaped building. We knew where all the guards were stationed and when shift changes happened. As I spoke, I was connected to the other battle crafts, and as I pointed to where each team would land. Team A would land on the outskirts of their base in Gwanju to make sure we didn't hurt any civilians and to make sure no one of the Shadow Tigers escaped. Team B would land in Gangwon-Do, where the kidnapped superheroes were allegedly. Our spies had always tried to get there but were killed before they could get near their base. Ray and the rest had to be there. Team C, me, and the rest of this craft would land at the entrance of the building. After I finished explaing the plan, Aqua explained more with her team. She was the one heading to Gangwon-Do to rescue the heroes.
