4. Evil's gates open

I stood on the highest building of Swellview; Swellview's Twitflash branch. I didn't even attempt to brush my hair away from my face despite the wind's forceful blowing. I kept a close eye out for any movement that did not appear to be normal. But everything in the town looked the same. Everything sounded the same. People carried out their daily lives without a care in the world. I still couldn't understand the fact that Ray had somehow disappeared. He was sometimes reckless and cocky but he wasn't completely dumb. If he was in a situation that he couldn't handle he would always call Henry and I. After an hour of sitting on the building I decided to jump off. The building consisted of twenty floors. On my way to the ground, people ran up to the window,cheering and I gave them a small smile. On the tenth floor was where I saw Rick Twitler. He had a maroon tuxedo and a black shirt that was untucked. He looked stressed about something. When we made eye contact he looked shocked. I didn't look much into the facial expression and in seconds I landed on my feet on the ground. I quickly ran back to the Mancave before anyone would ask for my signature. I walked in to find Charlotte on the computers and Schwoz working on some device. I walked up to my cousin and she gave me a worried look.

"Has someone ever kidnapped Ray?" I asked and Charlotte and Schwoz turned to me like they were super ready to answer the question. "You know what I mean. If Ray was in trouble he would tell us or we would be able to track him."

"You're right. His tracker is off and most of the time we can track it even when it's off but now it's like it doesn't exist." Charlotte said and I sighed.

"That's why I'm building this. It will attract Ray's power waves." Schwoz said and we both looked at him questionably.

"Power waves?"

"Yes. Ray's power came from science not like Henry's or yours." Schwoz said and I nodded. Henry's came from poison and a little russian magic while mine was entirely magic. " Since I've analyzed Ray's power before it shouldn't be hard. But it will take me another week to buld it because I want to make a large range devoce."

"Devoce?" Charlotte and I both asked and he nodded.

"Yes like a phone, computer, speakers." He explained and I rolled my eyes.

"We know." I said as I shook my head. Schwoz's accent still surprised me to this day.

"We're just wondering how you still don't have an American accent after living in America for all these years." Charlotte said as she walked up to the snack machine and asked for chips. I followed after and asked for meat.

"I don't know." He said and went back to working on his device.

"We should tell Henry and Jasper. I'm pretty sure they would like to know. Maybe they would help us." Charlotte said and I sighed as I walked up to the couch.

"Go shoot your shot. The last time I talked to Henry he was really serious about not stepping in the mancave again." I said with a frown. I also hoped I could run to Henry and tell him my fears as I always did, but I was afraid that if I did, he may die. The urge to kill him always came whenever I saw him and it hurt physically and mentally trying to control myself.

"I will. Tonight." She said as she walked back up to the computers. "I'm going to look for the place the satellite last saw Ray's tracker." When she got onto the computers, they started to glitch and I frowned.

"What is happening?"

"I don't know." Charlotte said worriedly as she started to press buttons on the digital keyboard and Schwoz walked up to it. Then all the screens turned off and I hit the table with a fist.

"Someone is intentionally sabotaging us, and they are skilled at it." I told Charlotte and Schwoz as they backed away from the glitching computers. Then right after that the emergency alarm rang. I didn't feel like going out there by myself but there was nothing I could do about it. I quickly blew a bubble and took a tube out. Before I had left, Charlotte had told me that the emergency had been at Swellview maximum prison which had me worried a little bit. There's was rarely emergencies at the prison. The best guards were there because this was where all the villains, rapists and murderers were kept. A part of me didn't want to leave the man cave. What if it was a trap? What if someone was using this to get away with Ray? I still went there as quickly as I could. They were a bunch of guards at the front gate so I guessed that was good.
