||Chapter 15: Science Museum||

Jay parked the car as his wife got out, fixing her hair as this was a type of party with her co-workers and bosses.
Nicky was excited to look around the event, he was use to these events and being surrounded by adults that know his mom, he wanted to look around while his mom and dad talked to the adults.

Inside was just as amazing!
So many inventions, theories and even statues of Scientists and Inventors in Raven Brooks.
"Woah. . ."
"They must really take this to the next level."

Nicky managed to find the table that offered regular juice and food, he grabbed a paper plate, a sandwich and two cookies, then grabbed a drink of juice and began to walk around, memorised by the scale models, statues and the stories behind each invention and each Scientist and Inventor.

Aaron looked at the statue of his grandfather and grandma, it was nice of them to make the statue holding each other like they did in each picture they saw of them.
Their names were cleared, now they're at peace. . . Though his dad, Uncle Ike and Uncle Norman still have a way to go before they have complete peace.
"You're here?"
Aaron jumped, spun around and there was Nicky,"Oh!. . . I figured you'd be here, makes sense.", Nicky nods,"Mom's here for work and I'm here to look around.", Nicky looked at the statue of the couple,"Who were they?", Mya pulled Nicky to the display,"Our grandparents, Dad's mom and dad.", Nicky was surprised, he looked at the display.

'Robert Peterson and Adelle Peterson, Loving Mother and Father, Soulmates and Partners In Crime.'

"That's sweet."
Aaron nods,"Yeah, they studied the sky and made crazy inventions.", Nicky looked at the statue, it did capture how much they loved each other.
Then Mr Peterson came over with Ike, he was surprised to see Nicky there but. . . He took a deep breath and approached.
"So, they studied the stars? Does that mean they got to name a few stars?"
"I wouldn't be surprised."
Mr Peterson looked at the statue of his parents,"They were scarily smart people, I wouldn't be surprised if they hot to name a star or more.", Ike nods,"But they were also the kindest people you could meet, they took us to see a meteor shower and it was. . . The most spectacular thing to witness, kids. It truly felt magical.", Mya and Aaron smiled, Nicky too as it was a really nice memory to retell and from Ike's smile and Mr Peterson's, they meant a lot to them.
He could only assume they had passed away, he read the text more to learn and found some interesting background on them like how Robert was a big dreamer and how Adelle was someone that could ground him.

Mr Peterson took a step outside to get some fresh air, no matter how many years it's been it still hurts. . . It was still fresh in his mind, from then and the Theme Park.
"They're at peace now.  . ."
Mr Peterson nods, Norman having joined him outside.
"Felt like. . . If I didn't leave, I'd end up just crying all over again."
Norman nods, Diana came out after him and Theodore sighed,"I'm sorry, I-", Diana just smiled, she patiently waited as he hugged her and she hugged him back.
"I know, Dear. . . I know. . ."
Theodore nods.

Jay was worried.
He couldn't help it as he looked for Nicky through the crowd, his heart picking only to be relieved to see Nicky sitting with Aaron and Mya, he sighed with relief.
"Nicky."
"Hi, Dad."
"Hello Mr Roth!"
Jay smiled,"Sorry, I was wandering where you went off to.", "Yeah, I thought I'd be back but I ran into Aaron and Mya.", Jay smiled,"Into Science as well?", Aaron shook his hand,"I mean, kind of, a lot of it goes over our heads but our grandparents were Scientists.", Jay noticed now the name plates and statue.
"Huh; You must hear some interesting stories from your dad, huh?"
"Too many stories."
Ike came over,"So many in fact, there's quite a few that if I tell, their dad will have my head.", "Ike, what a surprise.", they shook hands, and began to talk.

"Have a good night."
Luanne waves her new co-worker goodbye, returning to her husband and son who were saying their goodbyes to The Petersons.
"See you tomorrow,  Nicky."
Nicky nods, and so they made separated for home and bed.
Luanne looked back at the Petersons, seeing the wife seemingly checking on her husband as well as her husband's coworker.

Once home, Nicky opend one of his boxes and pulled out two important things.
He placed one toy on his desk, to guard his room at night and the other he held close to keep himself as sake as possible.

Jay checked on Nicky, thankfully to see him in bed.
He spyed two familiar toys, he nods and closes the door knowing Nicky is in bed and asleep.
