||Chapter 19: School Boiler Room||

The Mayor sat in his chair, sweet jazz music filling the room while his assistant gave him some updates.
"Oh, this isn't related to anything; But your son seems to be bullying some kids at school."
The Mayor sighed heavily, he knew that was coming up.
"I know, I've been meaning to talk to him about it but. . . I haven't had the time, and I don't know the kids he's bullying."
He picked up a cup of tea, something to calm him as he stressed about his job and his son causing problems.
"Well. . . I know 2 of them are Mr Peterson's children."
The Mayor felt his heart skip a beat, pausing his sip of tea.
"And another boy in a blue T-Shirt, Mrs and Mr Roth's son."
The Mayor's heart might as well have stopped right there and then.
He immediately put the cup down, turning to his assistant and was clearly distraught and looked like he had seen a ghost,"Okay; For the sake of self preservation; Can I get some more details???", the assistant was concerned of his sudden interest, and desire for more details,"Sir? Are you okay??", he nods, clearly lying but this was her job until Mrs Yi took over so she compiled and gave more details.
And having to sit through all that. . . The Mayor never wanted to die more than right there and then.

Delory was in the hall, he was meant to be in class but he just needed a minute beforegoing back.
He then saw someone approachin, Nick,"Hey, uhm. . .", "What is it?", "Do you know where the supplie closest is, I was told to get something.", Delory nods,"Yeah, sure; Might as well help you, gives me an excuse to stay out of class more.", so Delory showed Nicky to the supplie closest.
Delory tried the door, shaking it and pulling it.
"Locked. You didn't bring any lock picking things with you?"
"How do you know I pick locks??"
Delory shrugged,"Heard uh. . . Aaron talking to Ivan about it.", "You friends with them?", "No, just overheard it.", Nicky shook his head,"No, I didn't. Couldn't we get the key from the Janitor or The Headmistress.", Delory sighed,"Yeah, true; Let's go.", Delory was more than happy to help, not because he wanted to help Nicky, but it gave him more of an excuse to stay out of class.

They walked in silence.
"Do you smell that?"
Delory frowned, turning to Nicky,"Smell what-?", then, a huge pressure came and shoved them back!
Heat, the ground and huge pressure knocked the wind put of them!
Nicky got to his feet immediately, facing him was the Office on fire!
He heard the alarm, sprinklers going off and people screaming!
Nicky, looked at Delory and immediately checked him for any injuries but guess they got lucky and weren't close enough.
Nicky grabbed his arm, dragging him away from the fire.
"Ugh. . . Ow. . ."
"We gotta go!"
Delory picked himself up, with some help from Nicky and they ran out of the school!

"Delory!"
"Mom!"
Keith finished writing their statements,"So, that's what happened?", Nicky nods, his mom was inspecting him for any injuries.
"Did the boiler just blow?"
"But if it did, why only one room the most effected?"
Parents and children were asking questions, Mr Murtaugh got on the wall and clapped his hands for attention.
"School will be out until we repair the school!"
Firefighters were putting out flames, Cops surrounded the school, teachers making sure everyone was here and reporters arrived at the scene.
Keith groaned as he saw a familiar Orange Capped man.

"Valeria; Dead at the scene."
It wasn't pretty, but she was killed presumably by the flames.
But this case was going to turn into a murder case; Her mouth was tapped, as well as her wrists, ankles and torso and while it did seem like she had a fighting chance it was too late and was taken out.
Leslie lowered his head in respect of her, Wilson stood outside to gather himself as Ketih observed the Boiler Room.

"Sorry again."
"You're fine kid, need to get that off before your mother freaks out.
Miguel invited them over, so Nicky could get washed up and then play with his kids; They were let off work because of this so they'd just have to ride out time.
