Enzo stopped biting his nail once Maritza finished explaining.
"Hmm. So a cultist was driving the delivery vam, that van is owned by Gerda; So I'll need to question her. . . Is there any other reason you would have been chased?", Maritza and Enzo exchanged a look, before Enzo cleared his throat.
"Well, to tell the truth. . . The Events leading up to this, we went looking for Quentin in hopes of maybe he could tell us something, since Mya said he fled the scene when Crowface broke into Peterson's House."
Maritza nods.
"And we found him, but we saw him following Leslie into town hall and. . . We followed, we were further away but I got something on my phone, Leslie was talking to the Mayor and handed him a roll of blueprints, when he realised Quentin saw him, he gave chase and then we tried to follow them and. . . Well, you know the rest."
Maritza held up her phone to Keith, his face going pale and grave.
It wasn't steady footage, but it was clear enough to see Leslie and the Mayor talking, Leslie handing over a roll of blueprints before the camera jerked away, probably when Quentin was spotted.
"I see. . ."
"We did Leslie stumbling away, yelling at something to get out of his head. . ."
Keith sighed,"Thank you kids, this will help a lot; How about you two wait for your dad to come get you while I make a call.", so Maritza and Enzo went into the other room, passing by the construction worker explaining and confirming their story.
"Well, whoever it was; They're gonna wake up covered in buries from the stuff that fell on them, how they got up? Probably adrenaline."

Keith stood at the phone, so it was Leslie that stole from the evidence locker and gave those blueprints to the Mayor?
But why, what could he have to gain from it or even the Mayor??
Keith shook his head, dialing Miguel's number; He would hate to think this would be another Gale situation.

It began to rain.
A lot.
Diana was nervous, Luanne not sure where to start, Jay paced a little between the table and counter while Matthew watched the rain fall and get harsher.

"The topic of Gorden. . ."
Matthew broke the silence,"He. . . He wasn't a good man, monstrous, towards everyone especially his employees and Norman. . .", Matthew turned to the Roths,"The reason Trinity probably went there is because, not only that, but he was one of the ringleaders of The Cult; He called the majority of the shots, him and two other monsters that are locked up.", Diana nods,"It was. . . Horrible.", Matthew turned to Jay,"That's why Miguel probably gave you some warnings, just not to trigger Norman.", Jay nods, like Miguel telling him not to mention their old boss or don't come up from behind Norman.
Diana shuddered as she put a cup down,"The Cult killed anyone in their way, didn't matter who they were or how old; They sabotaged Theodore's rides, they tried to kill Aaron and Mya and Norman. . . Norman's case we don't have a right to say.", Luanne related her hand on Diana's shoulder as a form of comfort, Diana gave her a smile as a appreciation.
Matthew turned to Jay,"Best we don't. . . Mention this to Norman, I can see you pieced together an idea of what Gorden did when it was mentioned he hurt him. . . But don't ask him anything, if you don't mind.", Jay nods,"Of course, we would never ask anything like that let alone pry into something so personal.", Luanne nods,"So Trinity went to see him cause he was a cult leader, so does she hope he'll know something about Crowface?", Diana nods,"That's our only reason we can think, but why she felt the need to steal and lie. . .", Matthew sighed, adjusting his glasses and leaning against the wall,"Even so, there's no telling what's a lie and what isn't from that man.-"
*BANG*
A loud bang made them all jump, it was then followed by more.
"Fireworks. Fireworks. . ."
Diana sighed,"They just keep getting louder and louder, they have Fireworks to burn.", Matthew nods, adjusting his shirt,"Yeah. . . I think I'll go check on the kids, just to be sure they're okay.", so Matthew went to check on the kids.
Jay turned to Diana and Luanne,"It's been a long day, and night; I'll put on some food for the kids and yourselves if you're hungry.", Diana nods,"Thank you, Jay.", so Jay got to cooking and, Luanne and Diana went to the living room to keep an eye out for the red car returning.

"They nearly killed your kids. . ."
"Yes. . . If they're back, I want to protect everyone."
. . .
"I know what it's like. . ."
Diana looked at Luanne,"To nearly lose a child. . .", Diana took Luanne's hand, hoping to comfort her, let her know they were there for her.

Matthew know Mya had a fear of Thunder or Fireworks; Anything that was too loud.
But he eased up hearing laughter from Nicky's room, peaking inside; Lucy and Mya were laying on his bed, playing with Nicky's cat and, Aaron and Nicky were playing a video game on the TV.
"Your cat is so fluffy!"
"Thanks, he likes to be cuddled."
Aaron glanced up at another firework,"How about when me and Nicky finish this level, and we put on a movie?", Mya lit up,"Ooh! Can we watch Hocus Pocus!??", Aaron nods,"Sure.", "Yay!!", Matthew was more relaxed, more at ease knowing they were happy and safe with each other.
"Kids? Nicky's dad is putting on food, I'll let you know when it's ready."
"Thank you, Dad!"
"Thanks!"
