||Chapter 97: Recovery||

So Raven Brooks took time to recover from another Cult attack, but this felt. . . Different; There were no deaths in the park, no one ended up badly hurt and, no betrayals or anything.
Molly was going to take over the position of Mayor till the next election, and usually that would make people nervous but there was a lot of positive feedback on her getting the position, Wilson and Mr Murtaugh continued to update the school security, and parents updated their own house security.

Molly showed Keith the secret office Brenda had uncovered.
"Shit. . ."
"He really wasn't the man I thought he was. . ."
Brenda rested her hand on her shoulder,"It's okay. . .", Molly was unsure about being the Mayor,"Are you sure?", Brenda nods,"Of course; You helped Leonard as his assistant before I came back.", Molly sighed, Keith put a pair of gloves on as he entered the room.

Then Molly had an idea.

Maritza and Delory walked up to the school, she turned to him,"Look; I can't promise you, you won't get stares, comments of nasty looks.", Delory nods, Maritza then smiled,"But we'll be there to make sure you're okay, and if anyone gives you trouble; We're gonna help you!", Delory smiled, while he felt like he could handle it on his own, he did appreciate not being as alone anymore.
"Thanks Maritza. . ."
There was a lot to process.
But he glad he had friends with him.

Mr Murtaugh patted Nicky on the head, by now the scars on Mr Murtaugh's face weren't as bad, they wouldn't fade but they looked less. . . Bad.
"I'm glad you're all okay."
"I'm glad you're doing better, Mr Murtaugh."
Mr Murtaugh smiled, grateful they were all okay.

"So new locks, new keys and some home cameras?"
Nicky nods,"Yeah, just to be safe; And also possibly figure out how I get in and out during sleepwalking.", Aaron nods, Mya poked her head out from the kitchen,"You think if you both sleepwalk, what would happen?", Aaron and Nicky looked at one another,"An injury.", "Most definitely.", Aaron sat on the sofa,"Especially if you punch or kick in your sleep.", Nicky still felt about the night terror that lead to him sleepwalking and hitting Mr Peterson, even if he had no control.
"I still feel bad about it. . ."
"Don't feel bad, it wasn't your fault and your a strong kid, Nicky."
Diana peaked in from the kitchen as Theodore said that,"How about you kids think about upcoming birthdays, thanksgiving or even Christmas?", Theodore groaned,"Talk about it, I don't wanna hear the Christmas Song 'All I Want For Christmas', it gets annoying after the first 4 times.", Diana giggled, Mya nods,"Yeah, I feel bad for the stores that have to listen fo it.", Aaron agreed,"Obviously; It's the rule that no Christmas songs should be played until December 1st and no decorations until then as well; Only exception are stores.", then the doorbell rang, Mr Peterson got up to get it while Diana put food in the oven.
