||Chapter 6: The Banner||

"Here is it."
Miguel met Jay at the entrance,"Looks nice, is there anything I need to know before hand?", Miguel shook his head,"No, expect Norman's our 'temporary' boss, they haven't sent someone new in a while so, guess they're keeping him in charge; I have no complaints about that after the last one.", "You mean your last boss?", Miguel nods, then he stepped back and pulled Jay back,"Yeah, actually uhm. . . Don't ask Norman about our previous boss, he wasn't. . . A good man to work under, and also Norman has some. . . Visible injuries. Sorry, he's a bit. . . On edge about our last boss.", Jay nods,"Got it, thanks.", Miguel nods and they entered together.

"Nice."
"Isn't it? Got the whole place repainted, new equipment and; Feels more. . . Welcoming."
Miguel points to one room,"That's the Radio Room, down that hall is Norman's office and this is main room and just here is the. . . Archive I guess, bunch of old documents and work.", Jay nods, the Radio Room opened and a man came out,"Morning, Miguel; How's the kids and- Oh, is this Jay?", Miguel nods,"Yep; Jay, this is Ike. . . Uh. . .", Ike chuckled,"My second name isn't important, it's not easy to pronounce and I don't even know how either, so just Ike is fine; I run the radio of the Banner.", Ike shook Jay's hand,"Nice to meet you.", "You too, Sir.", Ike smiled,"Welcome to Raven Brooks, and the Banner; You'll find this place is great. Much better.", another door opened, a man in a green raincoat, baseball hat, slightly long hair and bandages came out,"What's going on? Is this Jay?", "Yep; Jay, Norman: You spoke on the phone.", Jay nods,"Nice to meet you.", Norman smiled, shaking Jay's hand back,"Right back at you, Miguel spoke so highly of you and I'm sure you'll fit in just perfectly.", Jay nods, Ike then leaned against the wall,"If I may ask. . . Are you Jay Roth; Nicky's Dad????", Jay was surprised,"Yes, how do you know Nicky?", Ike oohed,"Ooh, sorry; He came over to Ted's house yesterday, Aaron invited him over and I just remembered he said his last name was Roth and his dad's name was Jay.", Jay nods,"So. . .?", Ike explained,"Oh, right; That was Aaron Peterson, Theodore Peterson and Diana Peterson are his and Mya's parents, I'm just close to the family and Norman.", Norman  nods,"Mhm. You'll meet Ted soon, or at some point he's a bit. . . Anti social.", Ike folded his arms,"That's an understatement.", Norman nudged him at that,"Ow, I'm not wrong.", "Hush you.", Norman turned to Jay,"Let's walk and talk.", Jay nods and follows Norman, who picked at the bandages at his hand.

"I'll have these off by the end of the week finally. . ."
Jay nods, it looked like he was in an accident, he could barely see something scar under the bandage on his face.
"Sorry, I probably caught you off guard."
"No, no; Not at all, it's fine."
Norman nods,"Right; Let's get this interview started, please have a seat.", Norman left the door open a jar, had a seat at the desk and looked through a few documents to confirm a few more things with Jay.

Norman nods,"Looks all good, of course if there is an emergency you can leave immediately, and you should be working alongside Miguel; Works best as you two have some history.", Jay nods,"Thank you.", "Welcome to the team, Mr Roth.", they shook hands again.
