||Chapter 49: Weird Dreams||

By now, Nicky's room was done.
Walls were painted light blue, his new bed was really comfortable, new flooring, furniture, some posters, figures and plushies.
Nicky even got a cat tree in his room since his cat spent most of her time with him in his room.
And it did feel really nice, the lack of boxes that was a reminder that they would potentially move away again.
The house now did feel like theirs after so long; Mom had her office/mini lab, guest room was prepared as his uncle was still staying for a while, some rooms acted more for storage but mom has ideas for later dates.

"Woah! Your room really is cozy!"
Mya and Aaron came over, excited to see Nicky, his cat and his new room really was nice.
"Yeah, it is nice. . . Really nice."
Aaron nods, looking around,"Cool action figures; I recognise this is the Alien and this is DOOM?", Nicky nods,"Yeah! I thought he was pretty cool.", Aaron picked it up,"That's nice; You play the games or read the comics?", Nicky shook his hand,"I've seen people play the game, and I've read a few comics since there was some in a library.", Aaron nods, putting it down as he was scared to break it.
"Dogday Says; Fetch!"
Nicky and Aaron jumped, Mya was holding that little dog toy Nicky always had sitting on the window, pulled his string.
"Ah, it still works. Thought it broke."
"I've never seen this character before, is it a character or. . .?"
Nicky took it from Mya,"Uh, yeah; It's an old toy from Play. Co; Dogday, was one of the smiling critters, I got him when I visited the factory with my uncle, he use to work there as Head Marketing.", Aaron sat on Nicky's bed,"This is Uncle Jimmy?", "Yeah, my uncle Jimmy; He was pretty smart, especially when it came to marketing, I don't. . . Remember much of the factory, but I do remember I was give a free toy which was Dogday.", Mya smiled,"It's cute. Little string. Does your Uncle visit?", Nicky shook his head,"Uhm, no; We haven't seen him in a few years, he kind of went off grid after the company closed down one of the locations, I assume he was transferred and we never heard from since. . .", not to mention there was a fight between him and Saul before he vanished.
"Hey kids?"
Jay came in,"You want any food?", "Yes please.", so they went down for dinner, Jay's cooking was really good.

"I'm heading out."
"Seeing Otto?"
Wilson nods,"Yep; Getting drinks with him.", Mr Murtaugh looked up from his marking,"Can I ask how long you've been friends with him? Otto's always been. . .?", Wilson nods,"Yeah, uhm. . . We've been friends for a while, he had my back and I have his; Have a nice weekend Mr Murtaugh.", with that Wilson left, Mr Murtaugh stayed back as he wanted to finish off to finish his experiments and clean the classroom.
Most likely he'd be the last person to lock up, since Camila left to tend to the Library.

Quentin jolted awake.
He was confused, standing up and looking around him.
His sister laying on the sofa, reading her magazine,"Morning sleepy head.", Quentin sat up confused, he was in his office and in their news station.
"You probably need to stop falling asleep at your desk."
. . .
"I need some air."
Quentin left in a rush, Beatrix was confused: He had been acting a little weird.

What was happening?
He's been having these weird. . . Dreams? Nightmares??
Something.
He didn't know, and sometimes when he's out in public he gets suddenly gets dizzy, lightheaded before passing out and having no recollection of anything but those dreams.

Quentin stopped walking.
Looking around, the woods had melted and now he stood in the ruins of The Theme Park, it was suddenly night and cloudy.
"What the-"
Clicking. . .
Quentin turned to towards the sound, there was Crowface; Staring him down.
"Shit-"
Crowface lept at him-

Quentin jolted awake, back at his desk again and Beatrix turned to him.
"You alright?"

Quentin closed his eyes, resting his head on the table.
"I don't know. . ."
