(31) Mystery Guy

Seventeen members came back from the meeting and now everyone was gathered in the SVT meeting room.

Everyone was fuming with anger after hearing what jeonghan explained.

Dino asked, "So are we really handing her over?"

Jun replied, "Shouldn't we? If we need to keep our mafia strong like now, we should."

Joshua added, "That Park Jimin, I just hate him. He always has to come into my business. I wanted to kill him."

Seungkwan commented, "Hyung, I don't think it's the right time for you to be jealous of Jimin hyung. That idiot negotiatior my ass."

The8 retorted, "Like for you it's the right time to call him hyung?"

An argument erupted between The8 and Seungkwan.

Then Scoups slammed his hand on the table and shouted, "Shut up, both of you!"

He continued, "There's no way we are handing her over. She stays here. Jun, tighten the surveillance, and DK, start preparing our guards to be ready for a fight anytime. All of you can leave now. Dino, you stay back."

Once the room cleared, Scoups turned to Dino. "Did you get the info Hoshi told you to take out?"

"Yes, I did," Dino replied, handing Scoups a file.

Scoups opened the file, his eyes scanning the contents. Dino said, "I never thought she would be related to them."

Scoups nodded slowly. "Nobody could have thought."

Dino then took his leave.

As Scoups read through the file, a smirk formed on his lips. "Of all the people, why do you have to be his sister...."

Flashback to the meeting room

Seventeen stood up, tension crackling in the air. Scoups looked directly into the man's eyes and asked, "Why is she so important to you? Give me a reason to hand her over... maybe I'll think about it..

Before they could leave, the man spoke, his words creating a wave of shock through the room.

"She's my sister... I want her back, Scoups. I WANT MY SISTER BACK, AND IF YOU DON'T, I SWEAR I'LL BURN YOUR EMPIRE TO ASHES."

Jimin interjected, "If you don't hand her over, imagine what would happen if we decided to target your main operations. Your supply lines, your safe houses, your most trusted allies—everything you’ve built could come crashing down. And I don't think any of you want that."

Jimin smirked, his tone mocking as he added "And you can ask Joshua, your team's diplomat, just how many mafia groups will support you if we go to war, and how many will support us. He's supposed to be the one negotiating, but even he knows that in a war, our alliances will outnumber and overpower yours. Isn't that right, Joshua?"

Joshua's jaw clenched, the taunt striking a nerve. The Seventeen members exchanged tense glances, the weight of the situation pressing down on them.
Their expressions shifted from shock to a mix of anger and determination, realizing the full extent of the threat they faced. Because they know the power the man has created in mafia world.

Scoups closed the file and stood up, walking over to the window. He gazed at the cityscape, the skyline a mix of neon lights and darkness. Taking a sip of his alcohol, he spoke with a cold determination.
