Yuri knocked gently on Joshua’s door, and within seconds, it opened to reveal him standing there with his usual warm smile. "Good morning, Yuri," he greeted, his voice soft and gentle.
“Good morning, Joshua,” Yuri replied with a small smile of her own. “Breakfast is ready. You should come down soon.”
She was about to turn and leave when she felt a gentle grip on her wrist, causing her to pause. She looked back at Joshua, who now had a more serious expression on his face.
"Yuri..." he began, his voice laced with regret.
“Hm?” she responded, a bit surprised by the change in his tone.
“I’m really sorry for that day,” he said, his eyes searching hers for understanding. “I was drunk and completely out of it. I didn’t know what I was doing—I wasn’t in my senses, and I’m so sorry, Yuri. Please, don’t hate me for that.”
Yuri’s heart softened at the sincerity in his voice. She could see how much it was bothering him, and she didn’t want him to carry that guilt any longer. “It’s okay, shua,” she reassured him, her voice calm and forgiving.
“shua?” he echoed, blinking at her in surprise.
She nodded, offering him a small smile. “A nickname for you, too.”
A faint blush crept up Joshua’s cheeks, and he couldn’t help but smile. “I like it,” he said softly.
Yuri chuckled lightly. “And Seungkwan told me that you were drugged that night. So it’s okay, really. But please, try not to let it happen again, alright?”
Joshua nodded earnestly, relief washing over his features. “I promise, Yuri. It won’t happen again.”
“Good,” Yuri said, giving his hand a gentle squeeze before letting go. “Now, let’s go have breakfast.”
Joshua’s smile returned, brighter this time, as he followed her out of the room, feeling lighter now that he had cleared the air between them.
Yuri made her way to the third floor, feeling a bit weary from all the early morning activity but determined to get everyone to breakfast. She knocked on Woozi’s door first, knowing he was probably absorbed in his work. As expected, he was sitting at his laptop, headphones on, completely lost in his music.
“Woozi,Breakfast” she called out softly, trying not to startle him.
He looked up, removed his headphones, and nodded. “I’ll be down in a minute,” he said, flashing her a brief smile before returning to his work.
Yuri then walked to the door directly in front of Woozi’s, which belonged to DK. She knocked, and within moments, he opened the door with a wide grin, his usual cheerful self.
“Good morning, Yuri!” DK greeted her, his energy infectious.
“Good morning, DK. Breakfast is ready, so come down when you’re ready.”
“Will do!” he replied, still smiling brightly.
Yuri continued to the next door. When she opened it, she found the room empty. It was Hoshi’s room, and it looked like he had already left.
She sighed and moved to the door next to Hoshi’s, which was Jeonghan’s room. Before she could knock, she heard him call out, “Yes?”
Yuri pushed the door open and found Jeonghan standing in his bathrobe, rummaging through his closet, clearly indecisive about what to wear.
