When Seventeen returned from their mission, they collapsed in the living room, exhausted. Mingyu, however, immediately stood up, his first thought being Yuri. He headed to her room, but after searching every corner, he returned empty-handed. The others looked at him expectantly, assuming he would come back with her.
Joshua frowned. "Where's Yuri, Mingyu?"
"I didn't find her," Mingyu replied, his voice tight with concern. They all looked at jun.
Jun, lounging on the couch, looked up in irritation. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" he snapped.
The8 cut in calmly, "Hyung, can you check the cameras on your iPad? Maybe she's resting somewhere."
Jun sighed but pulled out his tablet, scrolling through the security footage with mild annoyance. After a few moments, he confirmed she wasn’t seen anywhere on the cameras. A wave of unease swept through the group, and Scoups’ expression darkened with frustration.
"Where the hell is she?" Scoups demanded, his tone harsh with worry.
Just then, Jeonghan strolled into the living room, his hair slightly tousled, looking like he had just woken up. He stretched and casually said, "She's in my room."
The room went silent as everyone turned to stare at him.
Seungkwan blinked in confusion. "In your room, hyung? What is she doing there?"
Jeonghan raised an eyebrow as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Sleeping."
Dino chimed in, still perplexed, "Sleeping in your room?"
Jeonghan nodded, unfazed. "Yes. Why do you all look so surprised?"
Joshua, glancing at the clock, stood up. "It's lunchtime. I'll wake her up."
But Jeonghan quickly stopped him. "No, don’t. She’s tired."
"Tired?" Scoups repeated, his voice laced with suspicion. "Tired from what?"
Jeonghan’s lips curled into a slight smirk. "We just spent some time together," he said smoothly.
Woozi raised an eyebrow. "In what way exactly?"
Jeonghan's smirk deepened as he looked at them. "In exactly the way you're all thinking."
The atmosphere in the room shifted, tension rising as the members processed what Jeonghan had just implied. Ignoring the discomfort, Jeonghan turned to leave, but before walking out, he paused. "By the way, Mingyu," he said without looking back, "could you make something for Yuri to eat she must be hungry? She likes your cooking."
The room fell into a heavy silence as Jeonghan's words sunk in. The rest of Seventeen exchanged glances, processing the situation, their expressions a mix of confusion and surprise. Mingyu’s eyes narrowed slightly, his chest tightening. He had been looking forward to spending time with Yuri, and hearing that she was in Jeonghan's room, tired, left a bitter taste in his mouth.
Seungkwan looked at Jeonghan with a sharp gaze, trying to make sense of what had just been said. "Hyung, what exactly do you mean by 'the exact way we're thinking'?" His voice was calm but laced with tension.
Jeonghan simply shrugged nonchalantly, looking unfazed. "Exactly what it sounds like, Seungkwan."
Hoshi' jaw clenched, clearly not liking the casual tone. "And you just expect us to be okay with that?" He stepped closer, his posture commanding the room.
