Sana stood next to Wonwoo, her gaze fixed on the floor. Wonwoo opened his mouth to speak, but Yuri raised her hand to stop him.
"I want to hear it from her," Yuri said softly.
Sana hesitated, but Yuri gave her a gentle smile. "It’s okay, unnie. Please, don’t feel uncomfortable. You don’t have to tell me anything if you don’t want to."
Wonwoo shifted uncomfortably under Yuri’s glare, but stayed silent. Finally, Sana lifted her head and smiled weakly.
“There’s nothing between us like what you think…” she started quietly. “Wonwoo and I were together for a while. After one of our game launch parties, we drank too much, and... we made a mistake. I found out I was pregnant, but I didn’t want the child. I told Wonwoo, and he didn’t want to be a father either.”
Sana paused, her voice growing softer. “So I had an abortion. The unnies asked me about it, and I told them it was Wonwoo’s idea because... they were angry. But the truth is, we were both careless, and I’m sorry.”
The room fell silent, the weight of her confession hanging in the air. The girls looked at one another, clearly shocked. Nayeon, trying to break the tension, let out a snicker.
“Get home, Sana, and we’ll talk then. You’re not off the hook yet,” she teased lightly.
Sana looked down after finishing, and the room was filled with a heavy silence. The other girls, still processing the confession, exchanged glances. Yuri sighed, her eyes softening as she stepped forward and gently placed her hand on Sana’s arm.
“It’s okay, unnie. I’m not upset with you," Yuri reassured her. "Everyone has their own reasons, and I understand that things can be complicated."
Wonwoo stood still, watching the scene unfold, guilt evident on his face. Sana gave a small, grateful smile before looking down again, visibly relieved that Yuri had taken it better than expected.
Yuri glanced at Wonwoo, who opened his mouth to say something but stopped when she shook her head softly, signaling that she’d heard enough for now. There were still many emotions swirling inside her, but for now, she needed space to process everything.
Dahyun stood beside Joshua, her expression calm but clearly anxious. Joshua glanced at her and then at Yuri, taking a deep breath before he spoke.
“We wanted to talk to you, Yuri,” Joshua started, his voice soft and careful. Dahyun remained silent, looking down at her hands.
Yuri tilted her head slightly, sensing their hesitation. “Go ahead,” she said gently.
Joshua sighed, glancing at Dahyun again before continuing. “Dahyun and I were together for a short while, but it wasn’t what you think. We never loved each other in that way. It was more for appearances, a convenience for both of us.”
Dahyun nodded, finally speaking up. “It wasn’t serious. We were never romantically involved. We just... helped each other out. But I realized pretty quickly that Joshua’s heart was elsewhere.” She looked directly at Yuri, her eyes sincere.
Joshua reached for Yuri’s hand, his touch light but reassuring. “There was never anyone else for me, Yuri. Not in the way I feel about you.”
Dahyun stepped back slightly, giving them space, and added, “I’m sorry if this caused any misunderstandings. I just wanted you to know the truth.”
Yuri looked between the two of them, her expression unreadable for a moment, before she finally sighed. “Thank you for telling me,” she said quietly, her voice laced with exhaustion but also relief.
