"Yuri..." Seungkwan whispered, stepping forward to embrace her. He wrapped his arms around her, but she gently backed away, her expression unreadable.
"Hello, guys," she said clearly, her voice steady yet distant. A small, forced smile flickered across her face.
Mingyu opened his mouth to speak, but she held up her hand, stopping him. "Yuri-We"."Mingyu, I'm not here for this. I'm here to share some good news."
The room fell silent as she continued, "You know... you used to be like a family to me. You took care of me, saved me so many times..."
She pulled out an decorated envelope, handing it to them. Joshua took it, curious but cautious. He ripped it open and pulled out the papers inside, his face quickly turning pale. "What the fuck is this?" he shouted, his voice shaking with disbelief making her flinch.
The others stared in confusion, waiting for an explanation.
Jimin entered the room, his expression cold and unreadable. "It's our wedding invitation," he said flatly as he walked over, standing beside Yuri. "We’re getting married. Right, sweetheart?"
His hand slid around her waist, a possessive gesture that made several of the Seventeen members growl under their breath, their emotions simmering just beneath the surface.
Yuri nodded, her smile forced as she addressed the group. "Yes. And this is the first invitation, for all of you. Make sure you come and join us... I’d like it if you did."
The tension in the room escalated. DK, Dino, and Seungkwan began to cry, their hearts breaking as they begged, "Why are you doing this? Yuri, please... don't do this to us."
Mingyu and Joshua stepped forward, desperation in their voices. "We’ll do anything, Yuri. Just give us a chance to fix things."
In the background, Vernon, Woozi, and Jeonghan stood frozen, struggling to grasp what was happening. The weight of Yuri’s words seemed too heavy for them to bear.
The8 took a step closer, his voice cracking. "Yuri... please... forgive us. Don’t do this. Don’t marry him."
Before anyone else could respond, Jimin pulled Yuri closer to his side, a smug smirk on his face. He seemed to enjoy their torment.
Hoshi, unable to hold back his emotions, broke down in tears. "Yuri... I love you. Please... we’ll die if you leave us like this. You are the only one we need. We don't need anything else."
Tears welled up in Yuri’s eyes, but she kept herself composed, about to turn and leave. As Yuri turned to leave, Scoups called out, his voice steady but filled with raw emotion. "Yuri... you don’t have to marry him to punish us."
She froze, her back still to him, hands trembling slightly.
"You’re angry, and you have every right to be," he continued, taking a step closer, his tone softer. "But marrying him won’t make the pain go away. It won’t make you forget what happened... or change how we feel about you."
Yuri didn’t turn around, but her breath hitched, and everyone could see her shoulders tense.
"You were never just another person in our lives, Yuri," Scoups said, his voice barely above a whisper now.
The room fell into an uneasy silence, and even Jimin seemed momentarily speechless, watching Yuri, unsure of what she would do next.
As Yuri was about to turn away, Scoups' voice, sharp and cold, cut through the air. “I swear, Yuri, if you go through with this... if you think for one second that you can replace us with someone else, I’ll make sure you regret it.”
