"Hmm, what a naughty little girl." He says I keep my eyes closed.

"You can open your eyes. I got the information I was looking for." He tells me smugly.

I open my eyes angry.

"You need to leave now!" I shout, attempting to shove him away from my body, not like the sparks that fly across my body.

"Oh, trust me, I plan on leaving this shithole." He says.

"Good," I tell him, glaring.

"Then go," I tell him, pointing to the door.

"Ah ah ah, little mate. Don't rush me; I'm waiting on something." He tells me.

"On what exactly?" I ask uneasy.

"Well, that would ruin the fun. Why don't you get anything important to you while you still have a chance?" He tells me, backing away from my body, the warmth of his body quietly vanishes.

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

His eyes turn blood red again. "You will get anything important to you and hand it to me." He says his arms are waving in front of me.

I find my body moving uncontrollably, so I grab the photo album from the top of the closet, hand it to him, and stand there.

"Stop doing that! Or I swear to God I'll blind myself." I say spiteful.

His eyes turn golden. "You will do no such thing; do you understand me? I will not charm you unless necessary. In exchange, you will never threaten to harm yourself again." He says it in a stern tone.

"Whatever," I say, rolling my eyes, his jaw clenched. Before he grabs my jaw, "Keep up your attitude, and I promise you your punishment later will be much worse," he says to me with an eye still golden.
His eyes shift gray. "Come on, mate." He says practically dragging me.

"You said you were leaving," I say frantically.

"I am. I never said I wasn't taking you." He says pulling me out.

I see a few random people.

Two of the holding gasoline.

I try to yank my arm out of his hold.

"What the hell, let go!" I shout at him, pleading. As I watched the house surrounding it in gasoline on the inside and outside.

"Stop it. What are you doing?!" I say tears starting to form.

"This house isn't habitable. Let alone for my mate. I have to ensure you don't try to come back." He tells me seriously.

Before nodding to a couple of them, they drop a match, and the house begins to go up in flames.
I continue to struggle, growing rather tired.

"Let me go!" I scream I don't know where I'd go, but anywhere he wasn't would be best.

His eyes shift to blood red. "You will calm down, and you will follow me." He says, waving his arms around, charming me yet again. Despite my mind telling my body to run the opposite way, my feet move on their own, following him. Tears are still streaming down my face.

"Why did you do this to me? You already have a girlfriend. You didn't have to destroy my home and life." I am still following him involuntarily.

"That girl you saw earlier isn't special to me. That's why I pushed her off the moment I saw you, because in that moment nobody else mattered to me. I did have to destroy your house if you could even call it that the roofs are leaking and moldy; it isn't safe. ." He tells me seriously.

I continue to walk in complete and utter silence. I take my free hand and rub my arms cold, shivering.
He glances at me. Let's go of my hand sliding off his jacket and sliding it over my shoulder, waiting for me to put my arms through the holes. He grabs my hand again. As we walk deeper and deeper in the woods.

"Are you going to kill me or something?" I ask nervously.

"Don't you think if I was going to kill you I would have already? He teased me. I shrug in response.

"I'm taking you back to our house." He says it nonchalantly.

I gulp, "What?" I ask, making sure I heard him correctly.

"I'm taking you to our home." He repeats.

"I don't want to do that," I tell him my feet are still charmed to move to his will.

"I know you don't." He tells me with a small sigh.

"So did you use any of the prohibited items?" He asks me.

"Why?" I ask nervously.

"Mate I can just charm you and find out that way. I'm just looking for communication. I know the judge mentioned you didn't deny it." He says to me.

When I don't respond, he sighs, "Yes?" He asks me

"Why does it even matter?" I ask, rolling my eyes thankfully for the night sky, hiding my obvious distaste for the current conversation.

"Because it does. You weren't sentenced by the judge; remember he specifically said to let your mate handle it if you had one. Here I am. I gotta know so I can punish you accordingly. Besides the vandalism. Your actions are practically screaming to be corrected. Don't think I didn't hear about you being rude to the enforcers or refusing to eat. Which you still haven't; your stomach growling is making me uneasy." He says to me.

"You keep saying punish me as if I wasn't a grown woman. You will be doing no such thing." I say confidently.

I was grabbed abruptly.

My eyes met his golden ones He was half vampire, half wolf. His wolf took over.

"Oh no, I definitely will be. I'm your alpha mate. Do you think I'd let you get away with putting yourself in danger? Because each one of those prohibited items puts you in danger. We will speak more of this when we get home. I don't want to hear another word out of you until then. Do you understand?" He tells me in an alpha tone that my body and mind are weak.

"Yes, I understand," I mumbled, unhappy.
