Jungkook had survived his first week at Kim Taehyung's company, but it hadn't been easy. From the moment he walked through the doors, it felt like he had a target on his back.

On his first day, he was assigned an overwhelming workload, far more than any other new hire. The amount of paperwork and tasks he had to complete was daunting. But Jungkook was determined to prove himself. He stayed late every night, working long hours to ensure everything was perfect. He knew he was being tested, and he refused to let them see him fail.

By the second day, whispers had started to circulate around the office. Everyone seemed to be watching him, waiting for him to slip up. Jungkook could feel their eyes on him as he moved through the office, and the tension was palpable. He kept his head down, focusing on his work, but it was hard to ignore the stares and the hushed conversations that stopped abruptly whenever he entered a room.

During lunch breaks, he found solace in Mina. She was one of the few people who treated him with kindness and respect. They often ate lunch together, sharing stories and getting to know each other. Mina was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise hostile environment.

One afternoon, as they sat in the break room, Mina asked, "How are you holding up, Jungkook? I know it hasn't been easy."

Jungkook smiled weakly, "It's been tough, but I'm managing. Thanks for being so kind to me, Mina. It means a lot."

Mina reached out and squeezed his hand. "Don't mention it. You're doing great. Just keep your head up and stay strong."

As the week went on, the attempts to sabotage Jungkook became more blatant. His documents would mysteriously go missing, his computer would crash at the most inconvenient times, and he was given impossible deadlines. But Jungkook persevered. He stayed focused, working tirelessly to meet every challenge thrown his way.

Jungkook sat at his desk, focused on the pile of paperwork in front of him. It was late, and most of the office had already emptied out. Mina walked by, noticing his tired expression.

"Jungkook, you're still here?" she asked, concern evident in her voice.

He looked up and gave her a tired smile. "Yeah, just trying to get through all this. It's been a crazy week."

Mina hesitated, then leaned in closer. "I heard something today. I don't know if I should tell you, but you deserve to know."

Jungkook frowned, curiosity piqued. "What is it?"

Mina glanced around to make sure no one was listening before she spoke. "I overheard Mr. Lee talking to one of the senior managers. He said that Taehyung personally ordered everyone to find a way to get you fired."

Jungkook's eyes widened in shock. "Mr. Kim  did that? Himself?"

Mina nodded. "Yes. He's been trying to get rid of you from day one. He's the one behind all the extra work and the sabotage."

Jungkook sat back in his chair, his mind reeling. He had suspected that someone was out to get him, but he never imagined it was Taehyung himself. The realization hit him hard, and he felt a mix of anger, confusion, and hurt.

"Thanks for telling me, Mina. I appreciate it."

As Mina walked away , Jungkook sat at his desk, the words Mina had just shared still echoing in his mind. His fingers tapped nervously on the wooden surface as he tried to make sense of it all. The idea that Kim Taehyung himself was behind all the attempts to get him fired seemed surreal.

"Just for grabbing his hand?" Jungkook muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief. "I thought someone as important as him wouldn’t remember such a small incident."
