Chapter 20 : dead to me

Choso stared at Yuji , "are you being serious?" . Yuji's face scrunched up , "when do I ever lie?" Choso nodded . "Fuck- fine. We will leave him here" he scanned the room . "SUGURU. Look after my brother in the morning 'kay?" . Suguru sipped his drink and nodded before waving you all goodbye .

So they ARE friends , before you walked out mahito came waltzing down the stairs , "awww y/n? Leaving me already?" He pouted and opened his arms to give you a hug .You whined , "cho makin' me leave" . Choso shook his head and tightened his grip on your wrist so you stayed close to him and couldn't give mahito a hug, "I'm not making you , I asked you and you said yes"

After lots of effort and a lot of yuji's dry heaving , the two of you were in the car with seatbelts on . At this point Megumi was practically kidnapped by choso as a buffer because he was near his breaking point with Yuji almost spewing all over his seats.

You sat in the front with the wind blowing on your face making your hair blow in all different directions , you hadn't noticed at the time but Choso kept his hand on your thigh squeezing it every time you would stir and complain about being tired . Megumi was in the back with Yuji and kept patting his back as yuji's head hung out of the window , still very much dry heaving.

"Yuji please decide if you're gonna be sick or not all this gagging is making me feel sick" Megumi said patting yuji's back . "'M gonna die 'gumi ! Choso or the pink Whitney or both, helppppp I'm dying" . "Let's just Uber eats pizza and have you drink lots of water when we get home" Megumi said quite disgusted by how drunk Yuji was .

Now you were out of the car , Yuji was stumbling into the lobby , you were on choso's back after you were "too sleepy" to walk so he had to give you a piggyback. "Choooo can I sleep with you tonight 'bara not gonna come home" you said wrapping your arms tighter around his neck , his hummed , "yes Angel , I don't think I could leave you in this state anyways" "WHAT ABOUT ME IM YOUR BA-BBABY BROTHER?" Yuji asked with tears forming in his eyes .

Choso stared at him and then at Megumi , "Yuji I've looked after you for 18 years , you have Megumi to look after you tonight" . Yuji gave choso the cold shoulder and ran to the elevator . Megumi and Yuji left before you and choso since his dorm was on the 5th floor . You waved them both goodbye before resting your face into the crook of choso's neck . "Smell good Cho" you said murmuring into his neck.

You both got to his dorm room , choso really needs an award for being able to hold you for so long without dropping you or needing a rest. His dorm mate sat on his couch in the living room area playing a video game you didn't recognise , "hey haibara" choso said finally dropping you but only to take your high heels off for you , "foot" he said waiting for you to lift your foot up . You stared at choso's room mate , "haibara?" . The black haired boy paused his game and turned to smile at you , "hi y/n , I'm yu haibara" .

You smiled , "you have nice smile" . He kept smiling , "thank you- choso talks about you a lot" . Choso turned to look at him slowly with an angry expression. "I mean since like he's known you since you were like a baby and stuff" haibara says trying to conceal what he said . You looked down to see that you were now barefoot . You walk to the couch to sit next to haibara . "What're playin' . Cho? Can I have food? 'M hungry" you said rubbing your stomach.

He nodded , "how about I help you get dressed into some comfy clothes and I'll order you food?" You jumped up . "M'kay I'll be back hai-haibara donnnttt move" . Haibara smiled and nodded . Choso took you to his room and helped you shimmy down your body con dress. He folded it and placed it on his desk .

He rummaged through his closet and handed you a large plain black shirt and a pair of boxers that you just wore as shorts . Once he practically dressed you , you hugged his middle , "so warm" he pat your head and stroked your hair , "as cute as you are Angel , you need to re-hydrate and eat" ."I wanna eat you" you said against his chest.

"Not today Angel , you're too drunk- let's go talk to haibara" . Choso had ordered you food whilst you both watched and talked to haibara while played his video game . You were sitting on choso's lap with your head resting against his chest, you noticed the photo of nanami and haibara on haibara' lock screen . "Are you friends with kento?" You asked still slurring .

He laughed and looked at his lock screen , "we're best friends- we just don't hang out much since he joined the DKK frat and is on the basketball team" . You awww'd "why not- he doesn't seem very happy there if I'm honest. That's like the first time I've seen him smile and it's a photo"

Haibara spluttered and couldn't really think of an answer to your question but appreciated your honesty . "Haibara?" "Yeah?" "Why aren't you in the DKK frat or basketball team?" . He laughed but it felt empty , "I just wasn't any good at basketball- plus the DKK frat just frankly didn't want me. Kento was their star boy and man is he good. I'm happy for him- he's good at what he does but the frat has completely took over his life- like kento used to live here but he had to move into the frat house since he's on the basketball team. I love him he's my boy but it's just weird I dunno"

So that must be why choso hates the DKK frat and basketball team so much , since it caused haibara and kento's friendship to strain so much.
