Chapter 53 : Nothing important

Your silent walk back to the loud party was uncomfortable , leaving gojo to sit alone in his thoughts was like leaving the feelings of freshmen year behind you too . You so wished Gojo would get better but you couldn't stick around and have him disappoint you and make you realise that he couldn't . You wished you knew him and thought of him how he was on the very first day you met him ; charming , good looking and very sweet. If you could redo the whole of freshmen year you most definitely would.

You saw sukuna standing on the other side of the glass door , his eyebrows knitted together. "You wanna talk about it?" He asked opening the door for you . You nodded in response , you knew talking about it would be you telling sukuna - he would obviously not be comforting you but he'd understand you and that's all you wanted right now.

His large frame guided you through the various rooms to find one that was not occupied - which lead you to a small room with three couches with dim purple lighting . Sukuna sat down and patted the space next to him for you to sit . You slumped into the couch and held a small pillow in front of you to hug whilst explaining to Sukuna all of what gojo said to you and all of the things you wish you could've said .

"I just don't understand why he would follow me outside just to say all of that to me- like right I'm not crazy that was weird" you said clutching the pillow , sukuna put his arm across the back of the couch , "well maybe he was hoping you would tell him everything he wanted to hear but since you finally gave him a wake up call he doesn't know what to do with himself- he's spoiled rotten like look at this fuckin house . He gets everything handed to him but I think finally having to be realistic is fuckin with him" sukuna said with his head thrown back staring at the ceiling . You began to smile lightly , his gaze switched to you , "what is it?" , "just you're very observant for someone who doesn't like to discuss their feelings" .

Sukuna scowled , "it's not like I don't have any feelings it's just awkward talking about them I'm not like Yuji I can't cry on your shoulder telling you I'm scared to lose you- but you know I care, don't you" . You stared at his features , "I don't think I know anything like at all anymore sukuna" . He rolled his eyes in response , "I know I don't like how these frat douches fucked with your head like that Nahoya zenin scum when I see him again I'm gonna fuckin kill him" . You scooted closer to sukuna , "don't even bring that night up- top ten most tragic nights" . "I've been thinking about that night a lot - what if I wasn't there to beat his ass..like what would've happened to you. It gets me so fuckin pissed"

You put you head on Sukuna's shoulder , "I'm glad you were there and I'm glad you're here now" his lips curled up , "you're really something y/n - stay away from boys for a while. I can't show that I care that often it'll make it weird" you rolled your eyes and smacked him on a chest . You pull up to the sweet moment ruiner contest and your oponent is sukuna - it'll be over for you.

You two stayed and talked a while longer about more lighthearted subjects before deciding to go back to the main living area where the main portion of the party was . Choso sat holding a cup full of what you could assume was water to yuji's mouth making him drink so he'd sober up . Choso's eyes met yours - "where have you both been you both disappeared for like an hour - I've been on baby sitting duty" he nodded towards Yuji who was now holding the cup himself , "I haven't even thrown up today , I am a big boy now" . Sukuna placed his large hands on the top of yuji's head , "yeah dumbass and you better not when we get home - ma will kill you then kill me and choso for letting you get so drunk"

Choso stood up to walk over to you , you put your head against his chest and he put one arm around you , "you tired angel?" His voice was soft , you nodded , "I just really wanna go home" , "how about when we go home I take you to our field?" . Our field . You smiled at him , "I'd like that" .

Yuji had his head in your lap in the backseat of choso's car , "play with my hair" Yuji said tapping your thigh , you began to run your fingers through yuji's blond-ish pink-ish hair - his hair began to grow out it had been longer than three weeks since you cut his hair but he never asked you to cut it . " do you not want me to cut your hair?" . He began to lazily trace his finger up and down your leg , "I don't think the haircut is what gives me good luck anymore" , "it was never a haircut that was a joke I told you when we were 10" sukuna said snorting . Yuji's face screwed up , "oh my god sukuna can you like not ruin the magic - do you hate fun and childlike wonder ?" . "I hate dumbasses who can't handle their liquor" , Yuji grumbled in response knowing he really couldn't say anything to that because he was right , "anyways I think the good luck just comes from you always being around y/n so that's why you can't leave ever - but also yes can I please have a trim tomorrow" choso pulled into the drive of his childhood home and let the two twins walk inside , it was silent apart from the calming nighttime buzz and the crickets chirping .

"Do you wanna walk along the beach and then go to our field or?" Choso said brushing the hair out of your eyes . "Let's go to the field first" . The warm nighttime summer breeze blew over the pair of you as you had your brisk walk to the field full of daisies . He sat down in a spot where you could see the beach and the sea ; you perched down next to him . His large arm wrapped around you and pulled you closer to him , "did I tell you how good you look today?" , "many times Cho" you smiled resting your head in the crook of his neck as his thumb circled on your shoulder , you felt his voice vibrate through his neck . "You look so good Angel" he said lifting your head to meet his lips as he planted a kiss onto your forehead .

"Can I kiss you properly?" He mumbled against your head , he's so cute . By choso's appearance you would have never guessed he'd be as soft as he is , "I've been waiting for you to ask me that all day" he smiled before his hand grabbed the back of your head and pushed it towards his ; lips wrapping with yours ; his soft words did not match his hungry kiss ; his tounge swiping the bottom of yours before slipping into your mouth the cold piercing of his tounge quickly warmed by your hot passionate kisses and in one motion choso moved his arms to your hips picking you up and placing you onto his lap . He broke the kiss to start kissing down onto your neck , his ragged breath against your throat , "your phone is buzzing angel - it might be important answer it" . You pouted , "but we were-" "we have all the time in the world just check it"

Your phone kept buzzing as his calls kept coming through , choso peaked over the screen, "him again" . You declined the call and threw your phone beside you in the grass before pressing your lips back onto his - "nothing important"
