Chapter 54 : sleeping beauty

Being back in your childhood home means being woken up by your two siblings , "wake up y/n !!" "Y/n Yuji is here he wants a hair cut" "'kuna is here too!!" They said shaking you awake , you groggily wiped your eyes before walking downstairs to see the two twins and choso sat with your mother , "good morning mom" you said yawning . "We brought Yuji here but me and choso are gonna go to the beach - do you two wanna join?" Sukuna said picking sora up with one arm and holding her . "I'll go anywhere you go 'kuna" she said wrapping her arms around the proud sukuna , "feels like she's more of your sister than mine" you rolled your eyes . Takao shrugged and stayed close to you , his arms wrapped around yours - "do you not wanna go 'kao?" You ruffled his hair . He shrugged again , "are you and Yuji gonna come?" You fixed his hair , "yeah duh I just gotta cut yuji's hair and we'll be right out" . He still looked unsure , "choso and sukuna will take you and sora for ice cream you won't even be on the beach by the time me and yuji are done- I'll be quick I promise"

He seemed more at ease with that answer , "m'kay - choso are you seriously gonna get us ice cream or is y/n just saying that?" . Choso stood up and smiled , "of course I'll get ice cream for all of us - you want some too Mrs H?" . Your mom smiled at the dark haired man , "no need choso I'll be going out to the market with your mother soon- oh before I forget to ask . Do you want anything from the market y/n?" . You hummed , "no I'm alright thanks mo-" yuji tapped you and whispered, "can you ask for the cherries?" , "Yuji you can just ask her yourself?" . He pursed his lips together "Mrs H if it's not too much trouble may you please buy the cherries the ones I like" he beamed at her

"Yeah you do love cheries don't you Yuji shame you can never touch any you virg-" , "Let's get ice cream" choso said cutting off Sukuna and pushing him towards the door . Your mom laughed , "yeah I can do that for you Yuji" Yuji grinned "thanks Mrs H you're the best" .

You were now in the downstairs bathroom with Yuji sat in front of you with a chair you pulled from the dining room , "I think they're gonna turn out good when they grow up" Yuji blurted out , "who will?" , "takao and sora- maybe they'll be the next Yuji and Y/n" . You laughed as you began cutting the back of his hair , "not better than us though" , "oh they wish , I hope boys stay away from sora or else uncle Sukuna will pull up and cause havoc . I never thought Sukuna would be good with kids until you see him with sora he's super protective of her like do you remember when someone made her cry because they stole her barbie. I've never seen a grown man close to beating up a small child before"

"I think he's just like her scary dog" you laughed and brushed away the excess hair away from his neck , "all done - do you feel lucky" , "lucky to have this lovely lady in my life" he said jumping up and picking you up , "TO THE BEACH" he darted out of the bathroom , "you better not be running in my house Yuji Kamo" your mom yelled from the living room , "SORRY MRS H" he called out shutting the door behind the two of you before running toward the beach.

And boy can Yuji run , he made it to the beach with lightning speed , takao was sat on the sand holding two ice cream cones which you assumed was for you and Yuji , "takao my man saving an ice cream just for little old me" Yuji beamed as he placed you down on the sand and bending down to be at takao's height . "He's stubborn as a mule he wouldn't join us to play volleyball until you two have gotten your ice creams he even let his own melt" Sukuna said holding the volleyball in his hand , Yuji began to lick at his melting ice cream , "yeah I wonder where he got that from" he said obviously aiming that comment at you . You shook your head and sat next to takao who tried to hand you your ice cream . You smiled and pulled him close with one of your arms , "you can have it 'kao since you waited for me for so long- unless you want me to hold it for you while you play volleyball with sora and the boys?" . Takao shook his head , "nah I wanna sit with you , you smiled at him , "you sure you don't wanna play with them?" . Yuji frowned "yeah takao what gives me you and y/n could've been a killer team" . Takao shrugged , "don't wanna" .
