CHAPTER 27.1. Manipulative little fuck.

We're back at the Romano mansion.
Recent events have made me realize I've let my guard down around him.. I haven't let anyone underestimate me ever since I was raised here yet he somehow knocked every single training session I've ever gone through straight out of my head, quite literally might I add.
Not only that but Emery's been pissed about me locking Wrenley up in the basement a week ago, my bad for not realizing they somehow became best buddies during the few days I let him stay here.
He's smarter than I gave him credit for, manipulative little fuck.

I drum my fingers on my father's desk, he's out of town which is all I know, all Emery was able to tell me.
Ever since Wrenley got in my head I've been losing my grip on everything, everything that matters, I've lost control after years of control being drilled into me.
It's quite fascinating really.
I haven't gone to see Wrenley, I've been sending Theo down to keep him alive which means food and water, I've noticed Emery sneaking down every so often but who am I to tell the kid off from socializing?
Even if that socializing includes the bane of my existence taking human form in Wrenley Rautha.

I've thought about what to do with him, thought about killing him but knowing him.. leaving him alone with nothing but his thoughts seems like the better option, I'm guessing that's his biggest fear, being alone, abandoned.
He's crazy, there's no doubt about that but I don't have time to play therapist for him nor do I currently have any sympathy for him.
God.. to think at some point maybe I did.
A rough laugh slips past my lips.
