WRENLEY RAUTHA.
I almost feel offened as I glance at the passed out guy in the back of the black jeep, this was the guy Raiden had trusted with my damn life ?
A single tap from Raiden's gun to the back of his head when he was taking a smoke shut his fucking lights and send him into a damn beauty sleep.
I had started up the phone Raiden had gotten me for one thing and one thing only.. to install a tracker on Raiden's phone while he was asleep a few days ago.
I pull out the phone from my pocket , I smile at the picture of Raiden's sleeping face on the background , a slight frown on those gorgeous features.
Focus.
I unlock the phone and get to tracking his ass.
He's moving , a few blocks from here, I'm only about a five minute drive behind him if I go now, I put the phone on the seat next to me before looking at the dashboard, then the wheel and then the gas and break pedals, remembering I don't fucking know how to drive.
"Fuck." I curse under my breath, I twist the key , the engine makes an odd sound in protest when I step on the gas.
I frown when it doesn't start driving.
Tf?
I look back up.
There's a group of guys standing infront of a bar , laughing and chatting as they lean on their motorcycles , I get out of the car , snatching the phone and stuffing it back into my jeans pocket as I make my way over to the group.
I pull out Raiden's golden gun and aim it at the guy leaning against a beautiful midnight black motorcycle "Mind if I borrow that ?" the buff guy stumbles back , raising his hands in the air, stammering out curses.
"I'll take that as a no not at all." I smile, sweetly ofcourse, he fumbles to get his keys out of his jacket pocket before he tosses it at me with shaky hands , I catch it.
"Thanks." I say, getting on the motorcycle and starting the engine , the beauty lets out a familiar growl , now that's more like my thing.
---------
I slow down near Raiden's location before parking the motorcycle in a nearby alleyway.
I passed his car on the way which means he's on foot now.
I glance back down at the phone in my hand just as he walks into a building that looks a lot like a warehouse, I look up at the building infront of me, Raiden's inside.. on the whole other side of the building, I stick to the shadows and take out Raiden's gun, holding it with both my hands like in the action movies as I make my way along the wall of the building, ofcourse I'm on the one side of the building that doesn't seem to have a damn entrance.
I stop when my eyes land on a ladder that goes up along the side of the building, seemingly going to the roof.
I tuck the gun into the side of my pants which makes me question if Raiden has some kind of fancy gun pocket in every pants he wears because it doesn't sit as good or as snug as it seems to with Raiden.
I grab onto the ladder after tucking the phone into my pocket before I start climbing up and holy fuck do I need to work on my cardio.
Eventually I make it up and look around the flat roof.
There's a round metal panel with a rusty handle inbetween the big ventilation systems.
I walk over and grab onto the handle , squatting down, when I pull on it it doesn't budge.
My jaw ticks as I stare down at my only entrance that looks like it only locks and unlocks on the inside, there's just a handle on the outside.
I doubt I could just walk through the front entrance of the building.
I take out Raiden's gun as I stand up.
I stare at the handle, attempting to calculate just where exactly the lock plate would sit on the other side.
All I need to do is get it right, shoot a single bullet.
I drop the magazine from the gun into my other hand to check the bullets.
Emery had explained the whole thing to me, 9mm bullets which ofcourse are gold, I'm starting to think Rai has a thing for shiny things.
I count the bullets in my head, it's fully loaded with twelve bullets.
I shove the magazine back into the handgun and take aim.
Only when I pull the trigger there's the sound of metal shifting before the bullet backfires at me after hitting the metal.
I hiss when the bullet barely misses my face, it slices my cheek as the bullet flies past, I brush the back of my hand over my cheek, pulling it back to see a trail of rubbed off blood on the back of my hand.
Little heads up about bouncing bullets would have been real nice Emery.
I focus back on the task at hand, grabbing onto the handle I jerk it open, the metal lockplate barely hangs on on the other side of it, I glare down at the dark tunnel down, I jump over onto the ladder and start climbing down into the darkness.
Using only one of my hands, keeping Raiden's gun in the other.
The rusty ladder creaks under my feet.
It doesn't take long for my feet hit a metal floor, I crouch down, glancing around, there's a single red light above a door at the end of the long hallway, I'm guessing a fire alarm, that barely lights up the way, there's a narrow metal path, I stand back up, making my way over the path quietly.
Eleven bullets.
I remind myself of the remaining bullets.
