CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX. Golden retriever.

RAIDEN ROMANO.

What the fuck do I do with him?
Wrenley looks up at me from his spot on the floor where he's leaning back against the wall.
There's a thud in the room, followed by an annoyed grunt.
Theo.
"Stay here." I tell Wren, not that he'd run away, he probably wouldn't even if I begged him to.
I go back into the room, taking in the sight of Theo on the floor twisting his hands out of his restraints, not that Wren seems to have put too much effort into it.
I roll my eyes and reach for my dagger, only for it to be missing.
Fucking Rautha.
I grab the keys and undo Kitana's restraints, who's looking hella pissed might I add.
I nod to Theo, she scoffs but gets down to undo his restraints while my eyes land on the older guy in the corner, his eyes wide, muffled groans forcing past the gag.
"Wrenley." I call out.
He walks in, following my gaze "Pedo." he tells me, I nod.

I spin around when Theo lunges at Wrenley and shoves him into the wall, I drag my hand over my face but let him "Don't kill him." is all I say before I focus back on the guy in the corner who's quite literally pissing his pants.. or well speedo.. after some struggling behind me Theo tosses me my dagger which I catch while Kitana starts pacing and ranting about what her fucking daddy will do when he finds out about all this, I block it out, walking over to the guy I crouch down and press the tip of my knife under his chin, forcing him to meet my gaze.
He's practically whimpering.. how pathetic.
I glance back over my shoulder when I hear Wrenley let out a strangled laugh, I take in the blood that's dripping from his nose and his split lip, he spits in Theo's face and I look back to the guy infront of me when Theo's fist swings at his face again.
I drag my blade across his cheek, cutting loose the gag, blood drips from his cheek.
I huff when I hear Wrenley's ragged breathing, I don't fucking have time for any of this, I plunge my knife into the guy's throat and pull my dagger back before he has the chance to utter a single plead, standing up when blood sprays from his throat I wipe my blade off on the nearby curtain.

I turn back, my gaze sweeping over Wrenley's bruised and bloodied face "Enough." I call out, Theo backs off, wiping his mouth on his sleeve.
"Take her back." I tell him, focusing on what's important.
"Idiot slashed my tires." Theo says, giving Wrenley a pointed look.
"No I didn't." Wrenley speaks up before spitting onto the floor and straightening up "You did." he smiles wickedly at Theo, his tone mocking before he tosses him some keys I don't recognise "Take your pick."
Theo eyes the keys curiously before he grabs Kitana by her arm "Hey-" she protests "Shhh." I walk over, grabbing her chin and turning her face to look at me "Go back with him and tell your daddy you went for a little drive." I give her a smile "I'll come see you soon sweetheart." she huffs but gives in and nods before she pecks my lips, then Theo practically drags her out of the room.

I turn to Wrenley who's watching me silently "What the hell were you even thinking?" I glare at him.
"Oh fuck you Raiden. You wanted a reaction, you fucking got one." he narrows his bruised eyes at me. 
"You knocked me out." I point out.
He shrugs "Heat of the moment. Learned it from you."
"You kidnapped me." I continue.
He rolls his eyes "Quick thinking."
"And then you brought me here into a fucking kink room and not only tied me up but my right hand man and the daughter of the mob boss I need alive."
He huffs "Minor inconvenience."

I walk out into the hallway, shaking my head in disbelief, Wrenley's footsteps follow "You stalked me, took my threaths like a joke, called me to deal with your dad like I'm your damn boyfriend-"
"I never asked you to deal with Liam, I asked you to come get me." he corrects.
"Which I did." I snap as we make our way around the house "I took care of your ass because apparently you are fucking incapable of doing so, you thew tantrums and I fucking fed you Wrenley, I took you to my home." I grit out "I let you in on my shit. I let you come here knowing you wouldn't listen to a fucking thing I said because you never fucking do." Wrenley falls silent behind me as I continue "I've had every reason to fucking kill you and I haven't. Theo fucking up your pretty little face is the worst I've let happen to you." I throw open one of the doors and flick on the lights before taking in the garage, there's a red lamborgini which makes me even more pissed.
"You know what your problem is Wrenley?" I question mockingly while I smack my gun into the window of the car, alarms blare before I reach through the window and turn it off "You're so desperate for attention, for affection that you push every damn boundary, no matter how clear, you cling onto me like a fucking golden retriever who's always five seconds away from flying off the edge."

I turn to look at him, he's watching me, jaw set but he doesn't say a word as he shifts his weight from one foot to the other "Get in the car." I snap.
