"Now, this is heaven." I closed my eyes as I melted on the bubble bath I was taking.

Scarlet was stroking my hair, lightly, applying shampoo and washing it carefully like my hair was made out of gold. Scarlet chuckled on my sudden comment and replied, "Your Highness, sometimes I feel like I am talking to someone who has an equally mind set as me."

"Are you saying, I am your friend?" I asked normally.

"F-Forgive me. . . Your Highness, I didn't mean to offend you like that." I opened my eyes and turned to Scarlet, who had a scared face.

"It's okay, Scarlet. I'd love to be your friend. Infact, your best friend. I do not mind." I smiled and she smiled too. "And don't be afraid of me. I don't have the audacity to kill people."

She nodded and she continued to stroke my hair.

After finishing my lovely, peaceful bath. Scarlet left to get another towel to dry my hair, as they don't have hairdryer so they do it in the towel process.

I heard a knock. Thank god, she came earlier than expected. I am freezing to death here. "Come in!"

I was looking at outside the window, looking at the guards who were trained to look after all of us at night. It must be hard, no matter how you think about it.

"Scarlet, we should pay a visit to the guards and thank them for taking care of us, no?" I said without looking behind my back.

Scarlet stayed silent. I turned back to see it's not Scarlet but Lorenzo. What the fuck is he doing here?

His gaze fell on my white, night gown, which revealed my cleavage and almost all of my skin as it was made of silk. "Your Majesty. . .?" I asked, folding my arms.

He did not say anything as he kept on staring at me, my clothes, scanning me from top to bottom. Water dripping from my hair to the inside my of chest, his gaze following the flow of the water.

"Your Majesty?" I said, louder this time.

His eyes fell on me and he looked at me like I was the one coming into his room in the middle of the night.

"Do you need something?" I asked.

He shook his head as he scratched his head, aggressively. "Do not come to the training field, ever again." He almost sounded like he's yelling.

"Why not?" I asked like a fool I am.

"Normal people aren't allowed there." He said.

Normal people? I am literally his wife.

"But don't I get to go in as I am your wife?" I said, smiling.

He glared at me like he was about to kill me. I knew that was the moment I should apologise because I don't want to die now.

"I am sorry." I said, keeping my head down, afraid to make eye contact with him.

"And do not wear this in front of me." He roared.

I glanced down at my clothes, well this might be a little inappropriate to talk to a man, dressing like that but he came out of nowhere. What was I suppose to do?

I nodded, still looking down. Why was I so scared of this tyrant in front of me? Well, yes, he is a tyrant and that was making me scared. Tyrant meant he could kill me any moment without any mercy.

He did not move, neither did I. I kept my head down and he kept his head up, like the Royalty he is. Beast!

He then left the room and then I raised my head up. The awkward 10 minutes of my life.

I sighed and that was when Scarlet entered with a pink long towel.

Scarlet face showed that she knew, Lorenzo was here because she just stared at me for few seconds. "Nothing happened, Scarlet." I smiled at her and she sighed in relief.

"You look troubled, Your Highness. So, I thought, you might've been fought with His Majesty." She shrugged, unfolding the towel.

I chuckled, "Now. Please dry my hair, I am freezing to death!" I made a shivering noise.

The next morning, I woke up at the sound of people talking rather loudly than normal days, outside my room. What is happening?

I put a shawl around me to hide the white night gown I was wearing since last night. I opened the door to my room and got outside and saw couple of maids, including Astraa, the head maid.

"What's happening?" I asked, getting everyone's attention.

Astraa ignored me like she always does and Scarlet came forward and whispered, "His Grace is here to meet you, Your Highness."

Why are they so scared about that.

"Then get me dressed so I could meet him." I said making it a no big deal.

Astraa replied, "Meeting another man right after your marriage isn't something a married woman should do." She smirked making me mad.

What kind of old fashioned rule was it.

"Are you saying, I should tell His Grace that the Head Maid forbid to meet him because I am newly married?" I asked, glaring at her and making her uncomfortable. "So be it then. Scarlet, would you please pass this message to him?" I smiled.

Scarlet stayed right where she was and Astraa said, "I am sorry, Your Highness. I was just-"

"Disciplining me? I don't need it. If I want to ask anything about the Palace, I will ask Scarlet instead of someone who doesn't know how to respect a Royalty." I shot back a glare and she flinched

"Let us get dressed, Scarlet." I said and went inside my room where me and Scarlet were alone.

"You truly are amazing, Your Highness." She giggled. "The Head Maid is the one controlling over everything as she is the older one here, she practically forbid us to do anything but work. We cannot go outside if we please." She complained.

I nodded, "Suit herself. You will come with me from today onwards."

Her face glimpsed with hope and happiness then,  she nodded.

Right now, there's something worse awaiting for me.
