Armana Frauleins
Oh damn it. . .
"You did it right?" Lorenzo grabbed my collar of my freshly white shirt.
"I promise, I did not do such things." I said as I looked directly at his eyes.
"Do not fucking lie to me!" His voice made me flinch.
I shouldn't feel scared because I am completely innocent here. I was doing fine this morning, this afternoon. What changed?
"Y-Your Majesty. . ." I tried to speak but my body was getting weaker. "We were both riding our own horses when she screamed which I couldn't understand why she did that but when I turned back I found her on the ground while her horse was standing just beside her." I explained thoroughly.
His jaw tightened, "Armana, I won't let you get away easily." He still held onto my collar. "I will investigate that matter."
I shoved him away and fixed my collar. Right now, instead of getting scared, I am getting furious. How can someone have so much trust issues on a harmless creature like me?!
"First, feel free to investigate this matter because I am not scared of something I didn't even commit. Second, do not never hold me like that. Or else. . ." I smirked, "Your hands will be the first thing that will be gone, Your Highness."
His eyes pierced deeply through my eyes. His icy blue eyes. Freezing me already to death.
"Now excuse me." I said and then left him, alone.
Wait a minute. . .
I was suppose to act like I am in love with him and I had to pretend to cry. What have I done? Would he suspect it? Well, of course.
Let's forget about that for now. I will apologise to him when he asks me anything about this.
I spotted a blonde familiar guy. My face softened.
"Sir Charles."
"Your Highness." He bowed. "Are you on your way to see Lady Fiona?"
"Yes. I should pay her a visit, otherwise it wouldn't looks so appealing isn't it?"
He nodded. "We are currently investigating this matter. Lady Fiona had awaken long ago but. . ."
"But?" I asked, getting a bit curious.
"She claimed that you had probably been the one pushing the horse by mistake due to your clumsiness." He stated and suddenly something in me clicked.
How come I haven't noticed it yet? A novel must have a Villain or Villainess but if Armana Frauleins was the Villainess before but I am not hurting anyone or doing anything which already proves that I am not the Villainess anymore. At least in my eyes. Then. . . Fiona Barlee is the. . .
"Your Highness?" Charles's voice brought me back to reality as my questionable gaze went towards him.
"Investigate this matter thoroughly if you can, Sir Charles. My relationship with His Majesty is already bad enough. I don't want to add another person between it." I said and he looked at me surprisingly.
He nodded and replied, "Leave that matter to me, Your Highness." He smiled and I smiled back, leaving him on his respective mode.
I quickly went towards Fiona's room where I find both the person I don't want to meet right now.
"Your Majesty." I curtsied and looked at Fiona who was lying on the bed with a very sad face. "Lady Fiona." I smiled.
I don't want to cause more trouble for myself for calling her by her name.
"Armana." She said and my smirk followed Lorenzo's direction. "What brings you here?"
"I came to-"
"It's alright, Armana. I understand that you don't like me and I am sorry for being such a burden for you to push me of a running horse." She let out few drops of salted liquids. "I forgive you" she then smiled.
Is this how she wants to act in front of her beloved? So be it then.
"I really have no clue how you ended up falling off the horse, Lady Fiona but I never hated you for the fact that you would try to fall off a running horse by yourself, just to blame me for all of it." I smiled. "But that's okay, I forgive you."
Fiona's smile disappeared and a great rage of anger was visible which only I could see because Lorenzo was too blind to see his beloved maiden.
"Watch your mouth, Princess Armana." Lorenzo yelled. "I am sure I warned you before."
I can't do these anymore.
I sighed, "Forgive me for my rudeness but all I want to say is I do not hate you but I see as my little sister since I don't have one." I smiled.
She smiled softly and replied, "I understand, Arman. You didn't mean to do it."
"I didn't even do it mistakenly right?" I was still smiling.
She was hesitating but then nodded.
Call me a blackmailer but I'm not. Why should I apologise for the crime I did not commit.
"I will take my leave now. You guys take your alone time and I hope you recover soon, Lady Fiona." I smiled and then left, looking at Lorenzo's face for the first time.
He was thinking about something. I really wonder what could it be?
What are you thinking Lorenzo? You are probably thinking of ways to ruin me.
