Armana Frauleins

_

The sudden knock interrupted my mini sculpture. I was making one since I had nothing else to do. It seems like things are more easier here than in real life, or it could be Armana's hidden talent that is.

"Come in!" I command.

"Armana." The soft voice filled the room as I saw the small, young woman entering the room.

"Fiona! Hi!" I jumped out from where I was sitting and quickly went towards her and hugged her. "How have you been?"

"I'm doing good, how are you?" She smiled softly.

"Average life." I shrugged. "What brings you here?" I asked.

She made an exciting noise, "The designer is here. She wants to show us some dresses for the banquet, we will be attending." She said.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the banquet.

"I think I am alright. I have plenty of dresses I haven't worn before." I smiled.

"But. . ." Her grip on her dress tightened, "Lorenzo specifically told me to buy a new dress."

"He must care for you a lot." I smiled. "I can help you choose a dress. Will that help?"

"You are so generous, Armana." She awed me. "I also heard you have a great sense of fashion unlike me."

I don't want to be rude but that's true, Fiona's choice of fashion is worst than anyone probably. I noticed it when I first arrived in the Palace. The colour combinations did not match and she was telling everyone about how she chose the coordination without anyone's help and everyone in the Palace was proud of it. Well, good for her.

"Every girl has her own talent, Fiona." I said, still smiling.

"Not me." She made an upset face.

"Oh, I am sure, you do." I smiled, not being able to comfort the person who had a sad face infront of me. I was always a bad company. "Shall we choose a dress for you?"

"Yes!" She squealed.

We went through a lot of designs. I selected three designs for Fiona, pink, white and light green.

"I think the light green will suit you the most as it matches you eyes." I said.

The designer, Liana clapped her hands, "You really do have a keen eyes for fashion, Your Highness."

I smiled, "Thank you. It's the person actually. Fiona is a gorgeous lady, it didn't take long to guess what might suit her."

"Still, most of the lady does not have eyes for fashion. They more likely order me to match and I do it but I really have to take notes from you." She chuckled, revealing a cute smile.

I looked at Fiona who had an upset face, again. Why. . .?

"Did you not like the dress I picked for you?" I asked Fiona who looked at me surprisingly.

"No, Armana. That's not it, it's just that. . . I envy your talent. You have so many talents while I don't have any." She said, repeating the same topic as before.

I sighed, "Fiona. . . I told you, every person is born with a talent. Maybe I found mine a bit sooner than you but that doesn't mean you do not have any." I smiled as she smiled back at me.

Liana was impressed by my little speech as she clapped her hands again, "You are going to be a great Empress oneday, Your Highness."

I smiled without saying anything.

"Shall I show you some dresses?" Liana asked.

I shook my head, "I have plenty of dresses I haven't wear before." I said. "Oh- do you know what's the colour of His Majesty's suit?"

"As far as I have heard, it is Royale blue." She said. "I have a sample of it. Would you like to see it?" She asked politely.

"Yes, please. Thank you." I said.

She showed me the sample of the suit, Lorenzo will be wearing. I clearly remember that it was a tradition for couples to wear matching outfit to balls, banquet and other parties. Although, I doubt Lorenzo would offer me a matching outfit but I don't want be insulted in front of hundreds of nobles and don't want to be a part of a gossip session. So, even if Lorenzo like it or not, I am going to match with him.

"Hmm. . . These golden strips goes well with the Royale blue and I like the white pant added underneath." I mumbled.

I think I have a Royale blue dress that Sol has given me once to match with him on a banquet I don't remember.

"Scarlet. Would you bring me the Royale blue gown I own?" I told her and she nodded and left.

"Will you be matching with Lorenzo?" Fiona said, breaking the silence.

"Oh, yes. It is a tradition as far as I can recall. Isn't it?" I said, smiling.

Fiona smiled but somehow that smile seemed a lot fake than expected, "You do have a plenty of knowledge about North."

"I have been taking lessons from Charles." I said making the both woman in this room surprise.

"Sir Charles has been tutoring you?" Liana said as I nodded.

"But he never took responsibilities for these." Fiona said.

I shrugged, "I asked him to lend me some books about North but he insisted that he would teach me. It has been a while, I don't know where Sir Charles is now."

"Yeah. . . I also haven't seen him lately." Fiona answered.

Scarlet came with the blue dress I own. It looks new, well it is new. She handed me the dress and I showed it to Liana.

"Would you mind adding a bit of golden sparkles on this pattern and if it's possible, I want you to add some white pearls on this line." I instructed as she followed everything carefully.

Fiona and Scarlet was also following my instructions as they both stared into it deeply.

"Bravo!" Liana clapped again, "You really do amaze me a lot, Your Highness. I will follow all your instructions and make this dress into His Majesty's couple set."

I smiled sweetly as she took my dress and the books of sample she brought and left.

I stressed, "Choosing dresses can be a hard work." I said as Fiona nodded.

She didn't look excited as she was before. She seemed to be in a deep thinking.

"Fiona?" I called her out as she flinched.

"Y-Yes?"

"Are you feeling unwell, somehow?" I asked, as I leaned towards her to check her temperature.

"I am alright. Thank you for your help, Armana. I will take my leave now. Good bye." She stood up quickly and left me with Scarlet.

"Something's cooking. . ." Scarlet eyed the door that has been closed just now.

I laughed at her face and she chuckled.
