Armana Frauleins
_
"Entering The Crown Prince, Lorenzo Morelli and his wife, the princess of the South, Armana Frauleins. Assisting, Fiona Barlee and Charles Dullén!"
We both entered, Lorenzo and I together, I held Lorenzo's arm as we entered the grand hall. Beside me, was Fiona and Charles but they weren't standing close.
"Your Majesty!" A man who I am guessing is the Baron came towards her. "So glad that you could make it." He smiled. His gaze then landed on me and his eyes widened, "Your Highness, it is our first time meeting. Your beauty is indescribable." He said making me smile.
"Thank you for your invitation, Sir. I am eager to meet your precious daughter." I said, as I tried to keep my calm and smile.
"Yes, please come this way." He said.
I was still holding Lorenzo's arm as we followed the Baron. Fiona and Charles were behind us. I felt all eyes on me, evil eyes, good eyes, sweet eyes, eyes that envy me.
We spotted a young, beautiful maiden, chestnut brown hair, golden eyes that sparkles brightly. She's a beautiful girl.
"Happy Birthday Lady Madeline." I said, as Lorenzo stood there with no interest as usual. His gaze is on Fiona. . . As usual.
She curtsied and her soft voice spoke, "Thank you, Your Highness. I am so glad you could make it." Her gaze fell onto Lorenzo and she curtsied again, "Take my greetings, Your Majesty."
Lorenzo gave her a nod before taking Fiona's hand and left. Charles made a disappointing face as Madeline stood there in confusion.
"I wasn't sure what kind of gift you would like so I selected one from my choice. I hope you won't despise it." I said.
Madeline looked at me in surprise, "Do not worry, Your Highness, your presence is the biggest gift I could ask for." She said. "I was wondering how the new crown princess is going to be."
I smiled.
"Looks like, the rumours were all just a bunch of lies." She said, softly.
She's so beautiful, I wanna cry.
I met plenty of other nobles who congratulated me for marrying off to someone like Lorenzo.
"Princess Armana is such a beauty in real life." Someone with a black hair and violet eyes said. She is beautiful in her own ways. She had wrinkles but didn't look much old though.
"I appreciate your kindness. Am I in the position to know your name, Lady. . .?" I asked, politely.
"I am Tunesia, The Duke's mother.
Nikolai's mother? Which means. . . He is Lorenzo's step mom. Well, the Emperor and Tunesia had a one night stand and after nine months of suffering, Tunesia gave birth to Nikolai but the Emperor refused to gave any title to Tunesia so, Nikolai and Tunesia stay in a mansion provided by the Emperor.
Tough story.
"Good evening, Lady Tunesia." I curtsied.
"Oh, please, I don't deserve the respect coming from Her Highness, the future Empress." She said.
"Respect comes from one's heart not title." I smiled and her eyes widened in surprise.
"You are really kind, Your Highness." She said, smiling softly.
She is truly a magnificent creature. As a mother, she is a gorgeous lady.
"Have you met my son before?" She asked, making the conversation.
"Yes, I did." I answered.
"Sorry behalf of my son, if he did something absurd like he always does but I tell you, Your Highness, my son is a very nice guy." She said.
Of course, he is. He is the male lead after all. Except for the weird rat incident, Nikolai didn't do anything.
"No, he was really kind to me, everytime we met. I should thank you for that." I said.
"You amaze me with your words, Your Highness. Really." She chuckled. She was a kind woman.
I was having my second glass of champagne. The champagne here taste rich and delicious. Nothing like the champagne I had in my previous life. Everything here is so unreal. Well, who am I kidding? I am in a fictional world.
"Good evening, Your Highness." I heard the familiar voice rang behind me.
I turned back to see . . . Nikolai Lantsov. Forget him. . . Why does his suit looks so. . . familiar to mine? I gazed down at my own clothes then his.
His grin widened as he noticed me noticing that he freaking matched with me without me knowing!
"Your Grace. . . This is. . ." I mumbled.
"Good thing, Lorenzo and I are the same size also he's a bit wider and broader but it fits me well." He paused, then looked at my blank expression, "What do you think?"
"B-But. . . How?" I asked, still not getting the hint.
He chuckled, "I overheard their conversation." He pointed at where Lorenzo and Fiona was.
"What conversation?" I asked.
