'Don't worry at LaRusso's'

That was the text Jess received from her dad in the morning. Despite being very lost, she headed to the park with Miguel where their other friends were.

"Come on eat something you'll feel better" Demetri tells Miguel

"I told you I'm not hungry man" Miguel responds

"You are probably over reacting" Jess tells him

"I'm not overreacting, I saw what I saw" Miguel explains

"All right, you saw her eating dinner with some chode" Hawk says walking away from sparring with Bert after kicking the boy in the face. "It's probably just her brother or something"

"No dude, brothers don't look at their sisters like that" Miguel says

"Depends what part of the country you're in" Demetri adds

"Gross" Jess mutters

"Look, I just don't want what happened to Sensei to happen to me" he continues

"All right, so you go over to this kid and beat his ass so he doesn't have the chance" Eli says

"Don't listen to Eli" Demetri tells Miguel

"It's Hawk" Eli says

"Then why can Jess call you Eli?"

"I'm special" Jess jokes

"The fact is, Sam's given you no reason not to trust her" Demetri says to Miguel

"Yeah I guess your right" Miguel says

"That little bitch!" Aisha exclaims and Jess rushes over to look at her phone "you know that video I posted of me breaking that board? Look what Yasmine commented"

Jess read it say 'impressive...can't believe the belt made it around ur waist' and scoffed

"How about we kidnap her and have my boy Rico tattoo 'bitch' on her face" Eli suggests

"Bit much don't you think" Jess says

"Calm down Hawk" Demetri tells him

Eli turns towards him "all right I hear how you're saying it, and I don't like it"

"Wait wait wait, I have a better idea" Aisha says showing her phone again

"Yasmines throwing a party at the canyon later" Miguel says

"Not if we strike first" Jess suggests with a smile and Eli smirks at the idea.

"Be sure to stock up good in inviting everyone" Aisha says as she takes items off the store shelves "'VIP only' my ass"

"I still don't understand how we're gonna buy alcohol" Demetri asks concerned

"Oh please" Eli says "never underestimate the power of the Hawk" he picks up some packs of beer from the fridges before wrapping his available arm around Jess' shoulder and whispering "follow my lead" as they walk to the counter.

"Did you catch the game last night?" He asks the cashier "see Puig with the walk-off?"

Jess couldn't say she wasn't surprised in this moment, never had she ever heard him talk about sport before.

"Nah man, but I heard he flipped the bat to the moon" the cashier responds

"Yeah I was at the bar last night with my buddies from work" he tells him "the whole place went wild"

"I wanted to go but my girlfriend dragged me to some lame-ass play"

"Bitches will be bitches" Eli says and Jess glanced at him. "How much will this cost?"

"Gotta check your ID first" the cashier says

Eli laughs "I'm flattered" and he pauses to look at the man infront of him "you seriously think I'm underage? This is my frickin' wife"

Jess definitely wasn't expecting that but she played along by getting a step closer.

"Yeah I still need to see it" the guy tells him "it's required by law"

"For sure, just upholding the law" Eli claims as he hands his fake ID to the cashier and Jess holds her breath slightly.

"Whatever" the guy says not even bothering with it anymore. Eli looks down at Jess and smiles with a big grin.

"How about eight bottles of that vodka as well" he adds on

"Walter Hawkman are you serious" Jess laughs as they meet Miguel outside

"It worked didn't it?" Eli smiles at her

Jess turns towards Miguel "Sam's still not reply?"

"Nope" he answers putting his phone on his pocket

"Just enjoy tonight, I'm sure it's nothing" she tells him

They got the canyon and just as expected, Yasmine was no where to be seen. They decided to start their party earlier to make sure Yasmine wouldn't already be there, and luckily she wasn't. By the time she got there the whole place was full of people partying already.

Jess was chatting with Eli when she sees Moon at the top of the hill. When Moon sees her she starts walking down meet her.

"Hey" Moon says as she gets closer "did you really throw this party?"

"We may have" Jess says with a smile "this is Hawk by the way" she introduces her to him. Jess could tell by the way Moon looked at him that she thought he was attractive, this made Jess feel a bit strange, a bit jealous? She assumed it was nothing and pulled her away to get a beer.

Later on, Jess was a few drinks down and would definitely be considered tipsy. Moon was chatting up some guy while her and Eli sat down together.

"Would you still be friends with me if I was a crab" she asks with her head on his shoulder

He wasn't too sure how to answer that question "sure, as long as it's still you" he says

"That's sweet" she says facing him and sitting up "you always know what to say to me" they stare in each others eyes momentarily before they notice Miguel's voice raised. They rush over to check out what's happening. When they get there they see Miguel push Sam over

"Woah chill out" Jess says to Miguel before looking towards Sam and then noticing Robby. Jess and Robby stare at each other. It's the first time they have properly seen each other for a while now. As Sam starts to walk away Robby follows without saying a word.

"Who's that guy?" Eli asks but Jess stays silent

That night Jess stayed awake for her dad to get back. She didn't really know how to put it into words that her twin was actually hanging out with the LaRusso's, a family their dad hated more than anything. She sat on the couch in silence, only her thoughts making any sound. Suddenly, she heard the door open behind her and she jumped up to see her dad. She stayed quiet. He already knew.
