"What do you think?" Eli asks looking at the two new boys "shithead one and shithead two?"
"I was thinking more Mary Kate and Asshat" Aisha suggests
"Well I'm Chris-"one of them speaks up
"Did we say you could speak?" Jess interrupts
"They're just messing with you" Miguel tells them "besides everyone knows your names are Assface and Douchebag"
The bell rings signifying someone had walking in the dojo. It was Kreese. Her dad told her earlier that Kreese was overviewing tomorrow's session but obviously he'd come early, according to him he had changed.
"Fall in!" Johnny shouts "we have a visitor today, he is just watching. Mr Diaz warm them up"
(Yeah absolutely no way am I writing the bit where they dab, it actually pains me it is so cringe)
The next morning Johnny got everyone mixing cement at 5am.
"Don't add too much water, you wanna make it nice and thick"
"Sensei why are we mixing cement?" Miguel asks
"No questions" Johnny tells them before standing next to Kreese. Miguel looks at Jess.
"You don't want to know trust me" she tells him
"You think winning the All Valley means you can goof off?" Johnny says "Winning one championship don't mean squat. A true champion never stops training, you gotta keep moving forward or else you could get stuck exactly where you are, it's like the cement in this truck. That drum doesn't start turning the cement inside will harden and get stuck. Is that what you want it happen to you?"
"No sensei!"
"Good. Then climb up, get inside and make it spin" Johnny says which makes the student worried
"Sensei we've learned our lesson" Aisha tells him
"Get in!" He shouts pointing at the cement mixer
"Sensei it seams kind of dangerous, I mean the fumes alone-" Miguel tries to point out
"Quiet!" Kreese shouts over the top "this man led you to the mountaintop, and you question him? Look at you all. I can't believe this pathetic pack of pussies competed at the All Valley and won. It's an absolute miracle! And who's responsible for that miracle? Johnny Lawrence" he points at him "the best student in the history of Cobra Kai. My student"
"You were Sensei's Sensei?" Eli asks him
"You better believe it kid" Kreese answers "and I tell you I've never trained a tougher student in my whole life. So if you know what's good for you, you better listen to every goddamn word he says"
"I'll do it Sensei" Miguel says stepping forward and climbing up into the cement mixer. Eli next, followed by Jess.
Eli hesitates to go inside
"Scared of getting your hands a bit dirty Eli?" Jess teases and he gets inside. He puts his hand out to help her in as well. Once everyone was in they start to make it spin which was much harder than they thought it would be. Jess ends up falling over right into the cement making her completely covered. Eli helped her up and they continued to push the mixer.
The successfully managed to spin the cement mixer and after a while Johnny let them out.
"I know I'm proud" he says while hosing them down and getting Jess right in the face "I'm sure your parents would be proud if you told them, which we won't. You pushed forward like champions. Never stopping. And if you keep pushing and keep moving forward, you're gonna go to places you never even dreamed of" he smiles at them to signify he's finished speaking and they spread in the group.
"How'd you get so bad" Johnny asks his daughter who was definitely the most covered in cement.
"Hawk pushed me over" she lies which causes Eli's jaw to drop. She laughed
"How dare you, I was the one helping you up" he says
Jess was at home while her dad was filling out some paperwork at the dojo. She was in her room when she hears Miguel's voice.
"Sensei you home?" He calls
"He's at the dojo" she calls back and leaves her room to see him, her voice obviously making him jump.
He holds his chest "I forget you're his daughter sometimes"
"And I forget you have a spare key" she says "why are you here?"
"My mom cooked some food for me to drop off because she said she didn't want you eating slim jims for breakfast anymore" he tells her handing her the tin.
"Well tell Carmen that I love her the absolute most" she says opening the fridge and putting it inside. Miguel catches sight of the picture of Robby on the door but doesn't mention it.
"I'll see you tomorrow yeah?" He asks opening the door to go.
"Of course you will" she answers "remember to tell your mom we said thanks"
"Yeah I will" he says closing the door
