Jab(when) we met (completed!)

17) A surprise.

"Karaaaaaaaaan! Stop it!" I was giggling furiously as Karan tickled me to death. He then stopped and brought me closer to himself. I shied away from him, pushing myself away from him. But he was strong and held me tight round my waist.

"Let's take a picture of these two love birds!" Ar said, seeming rather drunk.

"We dont have a cam, Aradhya! Wake up!" I screamed into her ears.

"What is she? Dreaming?" Karan retorted, still not letting go of me.

"C'mon peeps! Lets eat our lunch! Hurry! We have only ten minutes!" I shushed everyone into the canteen. I was always keen on being regular to class. So was Karan. So the rest were forced to finish their business in time.

Karan sat opposite me on the lunch table and all my friends rushed to some other table. They wanted to give us 'privacy'. I hated it when they deserted me like that. I surely didnt need privacy from my friends while eating lunch!

As I sat, wondering how things had changed completely in the past two days and Karan was now my boyfriend.

~FLASHBACK~

It had been a month since me and Sohail had talked.

I was on my bed finishing up some of my homework for the next day when my phone squirmed its way out of the blanket to show one new message from Karan. It said "hi! u free?"

"Finishing homework :P" 

"Ehhh..u goody goody bum :P" 

"Excuse me??" 

"Nothing :P" 

"Wtvr :P" 

"Heard from Sohail?"

Yeah...I had told him about Sohail. He was pretty close to me and I had no reason to hide it all from him. He could also give me some guy advice! So, I simply texted him back saying 'No :('

"He doesn't deserve u. Frg8 him!" 

"huh?" 

"A guy like me deserves you. I keep u happy rite?"

What?! Is he trying to.... My phone beeped again.

"Will u go out with me?" 

"You serious?!" 

"Why not? I like you, and you like me too rite? 

We hv so much in common, and Sohail's ditched you, accept it!" 

"I dont know..." 

"Take your time babe :*"

And I was just thinking to myself how wild this was. I mean, he was right! And this would really help me forget all the Sohail crap. Maybe Sohail didn't deserve me!

As I lay on my bed that night, I coudnt help thinking about Karan. Should I say yes? I wanted to... but I was not sure. It would be my first relationship, and I wanted it to be a special one. I thought to myself the oddities of the situation, what other people would say, mainly my friends.

The next morning, we were all in the washroom when I told my friends the big news. I just recounted to them all the previous day's happenings and their reaction ;

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? 

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Literally.

All of them.

They were extremely happy for me. Finally, Preet asked me if I had accepted him.

"I just said 'I dont know!' and he then told me that I could think about it.
