11) The entrance test!

Back to Sasha's POV :-

The days passed by and my inbox flooded with mails from Sohail!

He , apparently broke up with Shona just for me..

But why did he even give her a 'yes' in the beginning?

So I didn't mail him back..

I had other affairs to look after!

Like my entrance test!

It was scheduled to be the following Saturday and I had no other choice other than to study!

After all people said that getting into Princeton school was very tough!

So most of my days were spent in this..

--- The following Saturday! --

I woke up early in the morning , got ready fast and sat to revise through anything

I could've missed out..

Soon we left for the school!

The school was around seven miles from the school..

It was located in a very deserted  area with nothing but bushes and trees within 

a one-kilometre radius of the school..

It actually freaked me out!

We entered the campus and dad parked his car..

I took my stuff and with a hint of excitement and nervousness all at the same time ,

I stepped out of the car..

Oh my gawd!~

Fantabolous Infrastructure : Check!

Lush and scenery : Check!

Landscaping : Check!

Excellent architecture : Check!!

This.school.was. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

As we walked into the block..

It had everything any student could ever want!

At least , for me!

It had a tennis court , two basketball courts and various other courts for various other games..

It had a football field!

A huge canteen!

Huge classrooms!

An aquatic centre!

And..I could go on..

Basically , it was a lavish school..

I found my way to the venue of the test and took my place..

After some time , a familiar figure walked in..

Hmm..who was that?

He took his stationery from whom I think was probably his mum and turned around..

Crap!

It was Jeet!

He was entering for this school?

Woah..That's news!

He walked right past me and then very weirdly , turned around and looked at me..

"Sash!"

"Jeet!"

"What're you doin here?"

We both asked each other at the same time..

"You musn't tell a word to Sohail!" I prompted as he was being shushed by the teacher to settle down..

I was in deep shit.

If Sohail came to know that I was trying for a new school , he would go mad!

Not that I care..but..I do care..but..

He just couldn't know!

I had to just disappear from that school without anyone knowing a word about it! 

For now , I had to concentrate on my paper!

And two hours just flew by!

I was done with the paper..

Which was a relief!

The paper was easy too!

But my next worry was to talk Jeet into not revealing anything about this to anyone..

As soon as he was done , he just got up , walked past me like I didn't exist!

I knew it! He was angry!

"Jeet!! Jeet? Listen up , will you?"

"What?!!" he said in a very harsh tone..

"Please don't tell anyone about this?"

"Why are you doing this Sasha?

You and I ver well know how much Sohail love you..

So why are you doing this to him?

I accept he was wrong in going out with Shona..

But everybody makes mistakes!"

"Jeet , this is very important for me..

Getting into this school..

Please don't do anything that could give Sohail any hints about this.."

"He's my best pal!

How can I keep this from him?

He ought to know!"

"Please Jeet?

I'll make it up to you!"

"It's not about me Sasha!!

You don't get it , do you?"he sighed and just walked away..

I didn't know what to tell him..

But I was pretty confident that this secret will be safe with him..

Jeet cared about me..so he would keep his promise..

He was just over-reacting too much which made me feel gross!

Yes , everybody makes mistakes..Sohail made one but it was far too big a mistake..

Too big to be easily forgotten by me..
