Chapter 5-

The Unexpected Guests

-Morning

Meher wakes up early, energized from her recent trip. She prays quietly and then heads downstairs to join the family for breakfast. The kitchen is bustling with activity as Neelam, Shakuntala, and Isha prepare the meal.

Meher - "The day has begun. What exciting things are in store?"

Anjali - "Today something special is gonna happen. Rajesh got a call, an old friend is coming.

Rajesh, on the phone, is clearly excited.

Rajesh - "Yes, Shyam, it will be great to have you at our home. Your son is coming too, right?"

After hanging up, Rajesh announces to the family.

Rajesh - "So, Shyam and his son are coming to our house today. We need to do some cleaning."

The family scrambles to prepare for the guests. Meher and Isha work together to tidy the living room, while Shakuntala and Neelam focus on the garden.

Meher - "We need to finish this work quickly. The house should look nice for the guests."

Isha - "Yes, you're absolutely right. I'll take care of the kitchen."

Meher - "Thank you, Isha. Your help is essential."

In the afternoon, Shyam and Vikram arrive. They are greeted with warmth and traditional hospitality.

Anjali- "Welcome, Shyamji. It's wonderful to see you."

Shyam - "This is my son, Vikram. It's very nice to be at your home."

Vikram - "Hello, everyone. It's great to be here."

Shakuntala - "Please come in. Have a seat."

Everyone moves to the garden, where tea and snacks are served. The atmosphere is relaxed, but Vikram's interest in Meher is evident.

Rajesh - "Vikram, how are you finding Delhi?")

Vikram - "I'm enjoying it a lot. It's even better being at your home."

Rajesh - "Okayy, now Mehar and Isha bith of you go and show Vikram our house."

As they were walking Meher starts the conversation to make him feel comfortable

Meher - "Would you like to see some special places in Delhi?"

Vikram - "Yes, definitely. I'd love to spend time with you."

Meher - "Isha and I can show you some places."

Vikram - "Wah, great! Tum dono se mil kar accha lag raha hai." 
("Wow, great! It's nice meeting both of you.")

As they chat, Vikram's flirtation becomes more direct. Meher begins to feel uneasy.

Vikram - " Meher, the day feels incomplete without you."

Meher - "Vikram, I have some work now. You should spend more time with Isha and Diya."

Vikram - "You're so beautiful, this day feels worthless without you."

Isha - "Come on Vikram, we'll show you more about the house."
And in the mean time, comes the Roy's

Noticing the discomfort, Aditya steps in to help.

Aditya - "Meher, there's something important for you. Go to your room, I'll handle the rest."

Meher - "Thanks, Aditya. I'll head to my room."

Aditya takes over the tour responsibilities, guiding Vikram and the guests around.

Later that evening, after the guests are settled in, Meher sits by her window, reflecting on the day.

Meher - "Today was a bit difficult. I felt uncomfortable with Vikram's flirting. But Aditya helped."

She picks up her journal and writes a poetic reflection.

Meher - "Chaandni raat, khwabon ka raaz, 
Tere bina, ek kami si hai baaz." 
("Moonlit night, the secret of dreams, 
Without you, there's a certain lack it seems.")

She gazes at the night sky, feeling a mix of emotions but remains hopeful.

Meher - "Kuch cheezein samajhna mushkil hai, par apni zindagi ko handle karna hai." 
("Some things are hard to understand, but I need to handle my life.")

As she finishes her poetry, Meher feels a sense of calm and closure for the day. She prepares for bed, hoping that tomorrow will bring new opportunities and perhaps answers to her lingering questions.
