Chapter 10-

The Wedding

-Morning
The day started with a mix of anticipation and chaos. Meher hadn't been able to sleep last night and finally managed to doze off after taking some pills. It was around 8 am, and the house was buzzing with activity. Rajesh, Arjun, and Aditya were already at the venue hall, ensuring everything was perfect.

Rajesh - "Arjun, have you checked the flower arrangements?"

Arjun - "Haan, sab kuch perfect hai. (Yes, everything is perfect.)"

Rajesh - "Aur sound system? (And the sound system?)"

Aditya - "Main sound system dekh lunga. (I will check the sound system.)"

Rajesh - "Make sure the candle lights are perfect too. Meher loves candles."

Arjun- "Don't worry, everything is under control."

Meanwhile, back at home, Anjali was running around, making sure everything was on schedule.

Anjali - "Isha, Diya, has Meher left for her bridal appointments?"

Diya - "Nahin Anjali aunty, abhi tak nahin. (No Anjali aunty, not yet.)"

Anjali - "Phir usse uthao! (Then wake her up!)"

Neelam - "Usko kaise uthayein? Woh to abhi tak gehri neend mein hai. (How do we wake her up? She's still in deep sleep.)"

Isha - "Main jaake try karti hoon. (I'll go and try.)"

Isha and Diya rushed upstairs to wake Meher.

Isha - "Meher, uth jao! (Meher, wake up!)"

Meher - "Mujhe sona do, kal kar lenge shaadi. (Let me sleep, we can do the wedding tomorrow.)"

Diya - "Meher, seriously, uth jao. (Meher, seriously, wake up.)"

Meher - "Accha, yeh batao, bridal appointments par kaun jayega mere saath? (Okay, tell me, who will go with me to the bridal appointments?)"

Isha - "Main jaun gi! (I will go!)"

Diya - "Nahin, main! (No, me!)"

Isha - "Tum kyun? Main zyada responsible hoon. (Why you? I am more responsible.)"

Diya - "Tumse zyada main samajhdaar hoon. (I am more sensible than you.)"

This left Isha and Diya in confusion as they argued about who would accompany Meher. And in this time, Meher snoozed out again!

Isha - "Main hi jaungi, bas! (I will go, that's final!)"

Diya - "Dekhte hain. (Let's see.)"

Isha - "Tum hamesha aise kyun karti ho? (Why do you always do this?)"

Diya - "Tumhe kya problem hai? (What's your problem?)"

Isha - "Tumhari har baat se. (With everything you do.)"

Finally, Anjali came in, scolding both of them.

Anjali - "Tum dono lad rahi ho aur Meher so rahi hai! (You both are fighting, and Meher is sleeping!)"

Isha and Diya realizing.

Diya - "Anjali aunty, yeh Meher ka trick tha! (Anjali aunty, this was Meher's trick!)"
Anjali - "Meher, uth jao. (Meher, wake up.)"

Anjali lovingly woke Meher up.

Anjali - "Meher, beta, uth jao. (Meher, dear, wake up.)"

Meher - "Aise uthana chahiye. (This is how you should wake me up.)"
