Chapter 8-

-The Mehendi Night

-Morning scene

The mansion was buzzing with activity as everyone worked tirelessly to decorate the house. Flowers were being arranged, lights were being hung, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement.

Arjun walked into Meher's room and saw her sitting on the bed, staring out of the window while hugging a blanket. He approached her gently.

Arjun - "Meher, everything will be fine. He will keep you happy.

Meher - "Bhai, mujhe darr lag raha hai." (Brother, I am scared.)

Arjun - "This is all new for you, but with time everything will be fine.

Meher - "Lekin bhai, kya yeh sahi hai?" (But brother, is this right?)

Arjun - "Mujhe yakeen hai, Meher. Tumhari khushi sabse zyada zaruri hai aur wo tumhe khush rakhega." (I believe so, Meher. Your happiness is the most important and he will keep you happy.)

Meher - "Agar kuch galat ho gaya toh?" (What if something goes wrong?)

Arjun - "Main hamesha tumhare saath hoon. Tumhein kabhi akela nahi chhodunga aur sambhalunga sabh" (I will always be with you. I will never leave you alone and handle everything.)

Meher - "Bhai, you know how difficult this is for me, right?"

Arjun - "Haan, Meher. But you are brave. You will handle all of this."

Meher - "Aap mere liye hamesha yahan rahenge na?" (You will always be here for me, right?)

Arjun - "Hamesha, Meher. Hamesha." (Always, Meher. Always.)

Meher hugged Arjun tightly, seeking comfort in his words. Just then, Isha and Diya entered the room.

Isha - "Meher, Makeup artist sabh bas aane wale hai" (Meher, tha makeup artist beauty will be here soon.)

Diya - "Aur tumhara dress bhi ready hai!" (And your dress is ready too!)

Meher - "Lekin mujhe pehle kuch khana hai." (But I need to eat something first.)

Isha - "Chalo, neeche chalte hain. Sab tumhara intezaar kar rahe hain." (Let's go downstairs. Everyone is waiting for you.)

As they went downstairs, the house was filled with relatives and friends, all busy in various tasks. Meher took blessings from everyone.

As Meher sat down to eat her brunch, the conversation continued.

Neelam - "Meher, today you should be the most happy for yourself.

Meher - "I am trying, Neelam aunty."

Anjali - "This marriage is the beginning of a new life for you."

Shakuntala - "And we are all with you."

Isha - "Meher, tumhein bilkul bhi tension nahi leni chahiye." (Meher, you should not take any tension at all.)

Diya - "Haan, sab theek hoga. Tum dekhti jao." (Yes, everything will be fine. You just wait and watch.)

Meher finished her brunch, feeling a bit more reassured by everyone's words. As the day progressed, the chaos of preparations continued.

Isha - "Meher, it's time for your mehndi application.

Diya - "Aur tumhari dress bhi ready hai." (And your dress is also ready.)

Meher - "Thik hai, chalo." (Okay, let's go.)

As Meher got ready, the house was filled with excitement and laughter.
She heads off to her room
