Aditya wakes up, sitting on the bed, still thinking about the previous night and Meher's touch.
He wonders if Meher had a troubled past and decides to surprise her with breakfast. He prepares it and takes it to her.
Aditya - Meher, wake up, here's your favorite breakfast.!
Meher - Tumne banaya? (You made it?)
[She sits up, looking at the tray in surprise.]
Aditya - Yes, specially for you.
Meher - Thank you, but I'll eat it later.
Aditya - Why? Eat it now.
Meher - I'm just not feeling hungry right now.
Aditya - Meher, maine pyar se banaya hai. Thoda taste toh kar lo. (Meher, I made it with love. At least taste it a little.)
Meher - Okay, I'll eat it later.
Aditya - Why don't you ever listen to me?
Meher - Please, Aditya. I really can't eat right now.
Aditya - As you wish.
Aditya receives a call and leaves for work. Meher looks at the breakfast, feeling hungry but conflicted because of her feelings for Maan. Later, Shakuntala comes into Meher's room.
Shakuntala - Ohoo I came here to call you for breakfast but, you're already having breakfast.
Meher - Uh, yes... Aditya made it.
Shakuntala - Uff, where is your husband?
Meher - Oh, he got a call. Maybe he went to the office.
Shakuntala - Cool, let me also taste this!
Shakuntala takes a bite.
Shakuntala - He made it really well!
Meher - Please, dadi, you eat this whole thing, I'm full.
Shakuntala - No, Meher, a good wife doesn't refuse food made by her husband.
