Hey, Lew! I heard the news and I want to congratulate both of you. I'm so happy! God, you are going to be a Dad soon! Message me back when you read this.

-Nicole

Lewis watches his phone light up, catches the text before it turns dark again. He took a deep breath, thinking about the message from Nicole Scherzinger, his ex-girlfriend. His mind raced with thoughts about how to respond, should he acknowledge her message and engage in a polite conversation? or should he ignore it, like the way she had once ignored him? He recalled the countless times he had begged for her attention, pleaded to be with her again, only to be met with silence. After a few moments of contemplation, Lewis picked up his phone again. He typed a brief but polite response, keeping it simple.

"Thanks, Nicole. Appreciate the kind words."

He sighed, setting the phone down on the kitchen counter and continued preparing the balloons, Simone on the other side witnessed the discomfort on his face. She quickly threw her attention at the cake in front of her before Lewis glance at her direction.

"Shall we add more icing?" Jordan asked glancing at her "I think we should, Julien loves icing"

Simone nodded in agreement and focused her full attention on decorating the cake, Today is Julien's 28th birthday, and they were planning a surprise celebration for him, thanks to Lewis's thoughtful idea. The cake was simple with layers of light blue frosting, Julien's favorite color. Simone meticulously spread the icing, ensuring a smooth and even layer. She then piped intricate designs along the edges, adding decorative swirls and patterns that enhanced the cake's appearance.

Jordan joined in, helping to add finishing touches. Together, they worked to make the cake as perfect as possible, knowing how much Julien would appreciate the effort. Simone carefully placed small edible blue flowers on top and added a personalized message in white icing that read "Happy 28th Birthday, Julien!"

As they finished decorating the cake, Simone looked at the finished product with a sense of satisfaction. The blue icing shimmered under the kitchen lights, and the personalized message looked perfect.

"Looks great Momma!" Jordan said, stepping back to admire their work.

She smiled and nodded, feeling proud of what they had accomplished "I think Julien is going to love it"

"As he should, duh! we've worked hard on this I'll f*cking slap him if he complain" Simone shook her head at the sharpness of her friend mouth.

"Everything all set?" Lewis asked, joining them in the kitchen. He glanced at the cake with a playful frown and added "And now I'm jealous"

Jordan laughed at Lewis's comment, clearly amused by his mock bitterness. Simone, curious about the next steps, turned to Jordan and asked "So, what's the plan?"

To make Julien's birthday truly memorable, Lewis had rented out a track near in Paris. The plan was to surprise Julien with a private track day, Lewis planned to take the wheel. Julien would be the passenger, enjoying the high-speed excitement while Lewis navigated the track with expert precision. Lewis wanted to give Julien the full experience of the track's adrenaline rush without him having to worry about driving.

Jordan look at both of them with a grin "Here's the plan, we'll pick up Julien from school after his last class and Lewis will go to the location first where we will surprise him"

Lewis nodded, satisfied with the plan "Perfect. I will bring the cake and balloons, let's make sure everything goes smoothly"

Simone, excited about the surprise, gave a thumbs up "Sounds good. I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction!" Lewis nodded ignoring the pang of jealousy creeping him.
