Simone’s eyes shifted from Jester to the man he had just called "Mr.Rosberg" She blinked in confusion, not recognizing the name. Nico Rosberg stood tall and relaxed, his demeanor friendly yet confident. His blonde hair and warm smile gave him an approachable presence, though Simone still didn’t recognize him.
“Hello, Jester it’s been a while!” He greeted warmly, his voice carrying a calm charm as he stepped forward. His smile was sincere, and his eyes held a curious glimmer as they settled on her. He extended his hand towards Simone, an easy and friendly gesture. “And…you must be Simone?” he said, his voice smooth but filled with warmth.
She hesitated for a moment, Simone wasn’t used to being recognized by people she’d never met before. After a moment, she reached out and shook his hand. Nico chuckled softly, catching her slight confusion, and turned his gaze toward Jester with a raised eyebrow.
“Am I right, Jester?” he asked, his tone playful as he glanced at Simone, as though wanting to confirm her identity from the man who clearly knew him.
“Yes, sir!” Jester replied enthusiastically, almost standing at attention.
“Y-Yes, that’s me. I’m Simone”
“Nice to meet you, Simone–I’m Nico Rosberg, Lewis former teammate” He glance at his daughter who was still glued to his side “And this is my daughter, Naila” Nico added with a proud smile, giving the girl’s hand a gentle squeeze.
The little girl offered a shy wave to Simone before her attention quickly returned to Roscoe, who was wagging his tail in excitement.
“Roscoe seems to have made a new friend” Nico commented with a chuckle, watching as his daughter’s eyes lit up at the sight of the dog. He then turned back to Simone, Jester, and the others. “Why don’t you all come over for some coffee at my unit?”
Simone felt a wave of warmth at the invitation, but before she could respond, Jester’s eyes widened, and he interrupted.
“Uhh—I think that’s not a good idea” Jester said, his eyes wide as if he suddenly realized he might have spoken out of turn. Simone glanced at him, eyebrows raised in surprise. She hadn’t expected him to respond so quickly or with such a firm tone. “I-I mean, Miss Simone need to rest early, because she’s pregnant” he stammered, the urgency in his tone growing.
“Oh yeah! I’m so sorry!” Nico replied, looking genuinely apologetic.
Simone, noticing the odd tension in the air, quickly jumped in. “No it’s okay, I would love it” she responded, her voice firm but polite. As she looked around, she couldn’t help but frown when she noticed the nervous expressions on Jester’s face, along with Sid and Terry, who were standing a little too still, as if something unspoken was hanging in the air. The two bodyguards gulped almost in sync, their eyes darting between Nico and Simone.
“Also I want to hear about you and Lewis” she added.
…Simone couldn’t stop being amazed while looking around. The inside of Nico’s home was just as impressive as the man himself—spacious, modern, and filled with subtle luxury. Large windows lined the walls, offering a panoramic view of the city, and the decor was elegant but comfortable, creating an inviting atmosphere.
“Schatz, sei einfach sanft” sweetheart just be gentle
Nico called out softly as he entered the living area, his voice calm and reassuring.
“He doesn’t bite, yes. But please just be gentle” He watched with a warm smile as his daughter, with a look of concentration, carefully petted Roscoe. The bulldog wagged his tail lazily, enjoying the attention.
