Title: Hard To Love | 18+
Author: Tricky_minds
Reviewer: CaitrwTitle: 5/5
Although this is a common title, I could not actually think of a better title for this book. This sums up Ethan and Amelia perfectly.Blurb: 5/5
Honestly, the blurb introduces the story very well. There is not too much information that gives the story away but just enough that gets the readers hooked and want to read to figure out more.Plot/flow: 19/20
The pace of the story is perfect where it does not move too fast or too slow. That way the readers are able to enjoy what they are reading. The chapters all connected together even when there were flashbacks, it picked up where it left off which is amazing. At first with the introduction of chapter 4 with the flashback I was lost but caught on at the end that in that chapter is when Amelia and Ethan met.Character development: 5/5
The author did a great job at character development. They captured how much the characters have grown by providing the flashback and backgrounds of the characters, especially Amelia. The author also did a great job at capturing the characters emotions through the scenes where they matched perfectly as well with matching the characters looks with the emotions like describing the different looks/emotions that the characters were feeling.Grammar/punctuation: 8/10
There are very little to nonexistent errors that I found in both areas. The author did a great job at wording each sentence and using strong language where it was perfect to use it. The only errors that there were was in the one chapter when the one character spoke it was missing a quotation mark. Also in the beginning of a chapter there were random caps used that seemed unnecessary.Readers enjoyment: 10/10
Honestly, if I could rate it any higher I would. This story is honestly one of my favorites and I will continue to read it. The author did a great job at making me feel so many emotions from sad to even giddy while reading it.Total: 52/55
Review:
For anyone 18+ this is a story that I HIGHLY recommend, beware there is spice that makes this story hot. Honestly, this story gave me fifty shades of gray and I am not disappointed at all. Ethan is definitely one of my new favorite morally gray men and book husband which takes a lot because of the men I have there on the list. In the beginning when Ethan and Amelia met again I was feeling nothing but giddiness but also like oh dang what's going to happen. Furthermore, the author did a great job at the work's building where I felt like I was actually in the book. In addition, the author wrote in third person but focused on a single individual where it completely works and it made it so much more enjoyable since there is not the focus of so many characters. Lastly, the quotes in there were HOT and SPICY.
