Jaymes bent down when she saw a dandelion. She stood up and crushed it, letting the remains flow into the wind. An old trick that never let her down.

The silence was broken when she heard a voice from behind her.

"Y'know, I used to do that to determine the direction of cloud movement."

She looked back up to the sky when Tyler Owens disrupted her peace. She didn't want anything to do with him, especially not now.

He said something else, but Jaymes ignored him, focusing on the sky.

"Yeah, sometimes the old ways are better than the new." He finished, walking up beside her and taking his sunglasses off.

Javi and Scott looked at them from a distance away while Javi started to get annoyed.

"What's Owens up to?" He asked.

Scott turned to him and started to walk away, "I don't know, you tell me."

"Where are you coming from?"

Jaymes sighed as he kept talking, she was starting to get annoyed.

"New York." She said begrudgingly.

He smiled at the news, "Wow, you're far from home, city girl."

She ignored him and kept looking at the sky.

"So, you like working for Strom Par?"

Suddenly, a man ran up, cutting their conversation short.

"Tyler, do you know what storm we're going after yet?" The man was half bald and had a British accent.

Tyler smiled as he looked towards Jaymes.

"Well, why don't we ask..." He trailed off pointing to her.

She turned to the man and in her nice voice said, "Jaymes."

"Hi, Jaymes," Tyler smiled, "I'm Tyler."

She turned to Tyler, "What about you? The Tornado Wrangler, what an intimidating name."

He smiled, "I thought so too."

"Well, don't leave me in suspense, how'd you get it?"

His smile grew wider the more she talked, "One day-"

"I'm kidding." She interrupted, "I didn't really want to know."

Her gaze left his and she went back to looking at the sky.

Tyler was still looking at her as he tried to figure out his feelings for her. He had just met her and she was already taking him by surprise. He had never really been stood up to before, but today it looked like he met his match.

"And, I-I'm Ben. I'm a reporter. I'm writing a piece on American Strom chasing." Ben held out his hand for Jaymes to shake, which she did with a smile plastered on her face. "Tyler's letting me ride along."
