Pt. 9 the act

As he when over to Larry i just looked over my shoulder it looked like he was smiling? I think it was hard to say with his hood up "hey wait up!" I caught up to the both of them and the group as he looked over and smiled I was guessing he was just drained from this morning but he seemed happier now that it wasn't just me and him.

As we got closer to the fall I started to lean over to the bars of the fence it was beautiful "sal come look at this!" "Hm?" He looked over to me as he looked back to where Larry set up a blanket for him on the ground everyone else was looking over to the falls so I when to go check on him sitting down to a safe distance from him I looked up at him as he was writing in a journal he had "are you okay?" "Yeah yeah..." he kept writing "Sal.." I pulled down the journal for his face for a moment. he sighed "what?" "You hit you head, then you act all weird all day?, your acting like nothing happened.."

Sal's pov
"Because I'm fine!, you act like it a big deal"
"Because it is you shut down in front of you house.."
"So?"
"So, that's concerning..at least to me.."
"It's just..just.."
"Just what?.."
I gave a sigh as i made full eye contact with him
"I get like this sometimes times guess Larry told you?.."
"Yeah.."
"Its- i- just.." I pull my hair to the front of my shoulders "it's just hard to explain, but I'll explain how it happens..I get these glitch's like flashbacks to times were I've had it rough as sometimes I don't know what triggers it and when it does happen I try to figure it out until I can't anymore.."
"Like mental flashes?.."
"Yeah..like I said it hard to-"
"No no, I completely understand even if it not the same for me or how it happened in my line of thinking but I get it and.." he puts a hand on mine "I'm here for you.."
Travis pov
Though he had explained this this morning I knew he was still all fuzzy in the head so I told him that I understood what he meant, showing that he could put in trust in me knowing that he could be hesitant with everything that had happened that morning.

Sal's pov
Showing a smile up at him looking at me with his
bruises up face I spoke softly"thanks..Travis.."
As the teacher tells us we had to move along and we had to go to a different area of the falls Travis helped me pick up my things and even asked to hold the blanket that was on the ground for me I softly smiled and agree.

Travis pov
Moving alone the river down the path of the falls getting closer to the tourist area we came along rock upon rock having the teacher even telling us to be careful having it be caused by a rock slide having sal right behind me made me comfortable knowing that there was some safety with it.
I could now see everything from the water that was down the hill to the forest that were up ahead though having everything almost be a hazard slightly terrified me.

Getting down to the water as everyone start to get there lunches out I could see sal get nervous behind me, slowly grabbing at his had and looking up at him smile gave some spirit in his face though it was very hesitant.
