Author's POV:-
The club's energy was electric, with flashing lights and music thumping through the air. Kaira lost herself in the rhythm, dancing to forget the day's events. The dance floor was crowded, but she felt a pair of eyes following her every move. It was a gaze that seemed to penetrate her soul, making her skin tingle. She turned to scan the room, but amidst the throng of people, she couldn't identify the source.
Ritika noticed Kaira's distraction and leaned in to ask,
"Kya hua?"
"Kuch nahi... you enjoy. I'm going to the washroom," Kaira replied, heading towards the restroom, hoping to escape that unnerving feeling.
Inside the washroom, she splashed cold water on her face, trying to calm her racing heart. She took a deep breath, staring at her reflection, when the door creaked open. Expecting to see another woman, she was taken aback to find Rishav Shekhawat leaning casually against the doorframe, his eyes locked onto hers.

Dressed impeccably, with his sleeves rolled up and a couple of buttons undone, he looked dangerously attractive. The sight of him sent a shiver down her spine. Focus, Kaira, she told herself. He left without a word this morning.
"Rishav, this is the women's washroom... the men's is on the other side," she said, attempting to keep her voice steady, though his intense gaze was doing things to her.
"I need to talk to you," he replied, his tone firm.
"About what?" she asked, fiddling with her makeup to avoid his piercing eyes.
"About what happened this morning," he said, his voice colder than before.
"That was just the heat of the moment, nothing more. Forget it like I did and go enjoy yourself, just like I am," she retorted, feeling a mix of anger and longing.
Just then, a girl emerged from a stall, shooting Kaira a disdainful look before spotting Rishav. Her demeanor changed instantly, and she smiled seductively.
"Hey, handsome," she purred, eyeing him up and down. But Rishav's gaze never wavered from Kaira's.
"I can give you everything you want," she continued, stepping closer to him.
"If you don't want your parents to receive a box with their daughter in small pieces, leave. I need to talk to my girlfriend," Rishav said, his voice dripping with menace. Kaira's heart skipped a beat at his words—not because of the threat, but because he called her his girlfriend.
