Kaira's Dress
Rishav's heart raced with excitement and a hint of nervousness as he parked his car in front of the elegant Shekhawat family home. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden hue over the sprawling garden that sprawled around the house. He turned to Kaira, whose eyes sparkled with anticipation. She looked beautiful in a simple but elegant dress, the soft fabric flowing around her as she stepped out of the car.well she was wearing a saree .
"Ready?" Rishav asked, trying to mask his own jitters with a reassuring smile.
Kaira nodded, her cheeks flushed with nervousness. "As ready as I'll ever be."
Taking her hand in his, they walked towards the entrance. The door swung open before they could even knock, revealing his mother, Shreya Shekhawat, with her warm, welcoming smile. Her eyes lit up as she spotted Rishav and Kaira standing side by side.
"Rishav! You're home!" Shreya exclaimed, enveloping her son in a tight embrace before turning her attention to Kaira. "And you must be Kaira! Come in, dear, we've been waiting for you!"
As they stepped into the house, the scent of delicious food wafted through the air, making Kaira's mouth water. Rishav's father, Rajvansh Shekhawat, emerged from the living room, his presence commanding yet comforting.
"Ah, my boy! You finally brought her to meet us," Rajvansh said, a proud smile on his face. He shook Kaira's hand firmly but warmly. "Welcome to our home, Kaira. I hope you brought your appetite!"
"Thank you, Uncle!" Kaira replied, her nervousness fading just a bit.
They made their way to the dining table, which was adorned with a feast of traditional dishes. Rishav's younger brother Aarav set the table, while his elder brother Vivan helped their mother in the kitchen. Divya bounced into the room, her energy infectious.
"Hey! You must be Kaira! I've heard so much about you!" Divya exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with curiosity. "I can't wait to hear all the stories about my brother!"
Rishav rolled his eyes playfully. "Divya, maybe let Kaira breathe a little before bombarding her with questions?"
Kaira laughed, feeling more at ease. "I'm ready for all the questions! I want to get to know all of you."
As they all sat down for dinner, Kaira found herself engaged in lively conversations with each family member. Vivan shared stories from college, while Aarav chimed in with his own hapless adventures. Kaira was intrigued by Shreya's recounting of Rishav's childhood antics, punctuated with Rajvansh's hearty laughter. The warmth of the family enveloped her, making it easy to forget her apprehension.
After dinner, everyone moved to the living room, where Raghuveer and Ganga, Rishav's grandparents, sat together on the couch. Raghuveer, with his silver hair and wise smile, beckoned Kaira over.
