Kaira's POV

As we returned to Rishav's house, the air was thick with unspoken words and unresolved tension. I could see the turmoil in his eyes, the pain he was trying so hard to suppress.

"Rishav, can we talk about what happened?" I asked gently, hoping to reach him.

"I don't want to talk about anything," he snapped, his voice cold and distant. Without another word, he walked away, leaving me standing alone in the living room.

I sank onto the couch, my mind racing with worry. After a few moments of silence, I heard the unmistakable sound of glass shattering. My heart skipped a beat, and I hurried in the direction of the noise, fearing the worst.

When I reached his room, the sight before me was both shocking and heartbreaking. Everything was in disarray—furniture overturned, shards of glass scattered across the floor, and Rishav standing amidst the chaos, his breathing heavy and ragged.

"Rishav!" I called out, my voice trembling with fear. "What are you doing?"

"If you don't want to get hurt, then leave, Kaira Singh," he growled, his eyes flashing with a dangerous intensity. It was the first time he had addressed me with my full name, and it sent a chill down my spine.

"What if I don't want to leave?" I said, my voice steady despite the fear coursing through me. "What if I want to be hurt?" I moved closer, reaching out to hold his hands.

He jerked his hands away, his expression a mixture of anger and despair. "Why? Why did you do that?" he demanded, his voice breaking.

"Rishav, it was for your own good. You can't live in guilt for your whole life," I pleaded, my heart aching for him.

"I can. I was living before you came into my life!" he shouted, smashing a mirror with his fist. Blood trickled down his hand, but he didn't seem to care.

"If you think that by doing all this you can push me away, then let me tell you, Mr. Shekhawat, you are absolutely wrong," I said firmly, my eyes never leaving his.

Rishav pinned me against the wall, his eyes burning with rage. "What will you do? You will tell Varun?"

"So wrong of you, Mr. Shekhawat," I retorted, meeting his gaze with unwavering determination. "I am an obsessed girl who can get anything when it catches my eyes, whether it's a thing or a person."

For a few seconds, we stood in silence, the tension between us palpable. His grip on me loosened, and he stepped back, his eyes filled with a mixture of confusion and pain.

"Leave, Kaira," he said quietly, turning away from me.

Instead of leaving, I took a step forward and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. "I'm not going anywhere, Rishav. I won't leave you."

He stood still for a moment, his body tense, before finally collapsing into my embrace. His arms encircled me, holding on as if I were his lifeline. We stayed like that, holding each other amidst the wreckage, finding solace in each other's presence.

"I can't lose you too," he whispered, his voice breaking with emotion.

"You won't," I assured him, my own tears falling freely now. "We'll face this together."

Rishav's POV

The drive back from Meera's parents' house felt like a slow descent into darkness. Kaira's silence weighed heavily on me, and my mind was a chaotic mess of memories and emotions. When we finally arrived home, I couldn't bear the tension any longer.
