GENESIS VALENTINE
𝚂𝙴𝙿𝚃𝙴𝙼𝙱𝙴𝚁 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟹
"NOVA"

Kentrell had completely ignored Genesis after his performance. When she tried to catch his attention, he glanced at her then kept walking. That made her upset, but it was all her fault. He confessed his feelings and she turned him down then went to stay with the guy he was worried about. She messed up. Bad. Really bad.

But she couldn't help it, she was scared and went about it terribly. She may have messed up but at least she was aware of her mistake. She wanted to make it up to him, but now he was completely ignoring her. But regardless if Kentrell wanted it or not, she was going to get back on his good side. They were best friends after all. Right ?

Genesis leaned against the bar, taking another sip of her drink, her eyes darting around the room, searching for Miles. He had came with her and now he was nowhere to be found.

"You okay baby?" Karrah asked Genesis, her voice was very soft. Genesis nodded her head before taking another pull from the blunt. Cross-faded. This could not be good.

Karrah's eyes softened. "You know you can talk to me, right?"

Genesis smiled, leaning in to give Karrah a soft kiss. "I know, ma. Preciate' you."

The kiss lingered for a moment, a quiet affirmation of their bond, before Genesis pulled away. "I gotta step out for a lil." she said, her voice steady but her mind racing.

Karrah nodded, Genesis left a kiss on her forehead before she made her way outside, the cool night air hitting her face like a welcome relief. The sounds of the club faded behind her, replaced by the distant sound of the engines and the excitement of the crowd gathered for the races.

She felt the adrenaline start to build, her heart pounding with the familiar thrill. She loved cars. She loved racing. Genesis smiled, watching the cars, taking the blunt from behind her ear.
