╰➠🤎[𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘤𝘩]🪐“Milly! Milly look at the camera!” The voice was low quality and slightly fuzzed from the old phone. A small baby Milori turned to the camera, only about eights months old.
“Come on! Say Mama, you just said it earlier!” Lynn pleaded. Milori crawled towards her Mom, not quite understanding what she was meant to do.
“No Milly-” Lynn giggled as she lifted Milori into her arms, switching the camera so it looked at her and Milori. Milori immediately enraptured by the screen capturing her movemnts and reaching for the phone.
“Milori, say Mama.” Lynn attempted to coax the little girl into talking. Failing as she continued to stare at herself in the phone, making Lynn laugh, the recording cutting off.Tony sighed, settling the phone down. After Lynn had disappeared Milori inherited alot of the stuff in her will, she would inherit it when she turned eighteen. But there were a few things Lynn had left to Tony. Namely her phone, most of the things on it had been wiped, except for the gallery. A large amount of photos and videos inside, some from before Milori was even born, some from after.
Tony hadnt touched it in years. It was always too painful to remember her laugh, her dumb jokes and sass. But Tony had lost everything now. He lost Lynn, he lost his hope, and he lost the last remnant of his old life, he lost Milori. So here he was, clutching onto the scraps of what he used to have desperately. Watching the video’s in a vein attempt to make himself whole. Tony was currently backstage, waiting for the conference to start so he could go out there. He wasnt wearing his suit, settling for a regular tux instead of the robotic armor. It didnt feel right to wear his hero clothes to such a personal event…
“Mister Stark?” Nezu’s squeaky voice called from the door, Tony blinked, quickly looking over to the mouse man.
“Oh- yeah. Are we ready to go on?” he asked, slowly getting up, his back slightly aching. Nezu nodded, Tony grumbled. Following the man out the door. Outside was Eraserhead and Vlad king. The two teachers present on the day of the attack. Tony balled up his fists. Saying nothing to both of the teachers. While Aizawa hid his guilt better, Vlad didnt, the look of regret and shame clearly painting his face like an art piece.
“We’re ready to go on.” Nezu smiled. Walking out.As the group walked out onto the stage the flashing of lights of the cameras and yelling reporters made Tony nauseous. He had hated the news for a long time. He couldnt pinpoint exactly where it had started, but if he had to give it a guess he would say it was after his fathers funeral when the media ambushed him outside, bombarding him with questions about the dead man.
Tony sat down in one of the chairs, for once staying silent and neutral in the presence of the media.
“We will now begin the conference.” Nezu smiled, clearly putting up a front for the media. The people sprung to life in their chairs, hands raised and talking over eachother like it was a rock concert.
“First, before we can say anything. We need to apologize.” Aizawa sighed, getting up and bowing. Tony hummed, well at leas he had the decency to do that much…
“A recent event caused harm to fall on twenty seven first year heroes. And we staff were ill prepared. We take responsibility for any trauma caused by our negligence. It is our duty to train heroes, but also protect heroes in training.” Aizawa finished. Tony silently nodded, happy he at least managed to apologize.“Il take the first question!” A reporter piped up, making Tony internally scream.
“Since the start of the year U.A. students have had four documented encounters with villains, this time there were students that were gravelly injured. How did you explain this to their families? And what are some of the specific steps youre taking to ensure their safety in the future?” The reporter questioned.
